Warning: If you have signed up to the DADI ICO, your information has been leaked by the team to hackers and phishers, who are currently exploiting this data for phishing scams. THE DADI team is trying their best to cover up any trace of this happening.

    Posted: 12 Mar 2018 02:14 PM PDT

Myself, and many others in the DADI community had received this email recently:

https://i.imgur.com/CHiQ5mL.png This is one of 3 emails I had received, all of which containing my first and second name (censored for obvious reasons).

Any newbies to the scene could have easily fell for this most recent one. It contains a link to myetherwallet.com, but with dots underneath the letters (similar to the recent Binance phishing site). Some of you may also remember last month's data leak, which allowed phishers to make off with $60k in ethereum.

I had shown my outrage on the DADI subreddit: https://www.np.reddit.com/r/DADI/comments/83y223/why_the_fuck_am_i_receiving_emails_from_phishers/

Without acknowledging any of my concerns, my post was deleted. Mods didn't respond to the post. As of 13th March 2018 8:00 GMT, over 10 hours since my post was made, the DADI subreddit continues to be on lockdown, with mods deleting any post related to this.

Over on the Discord, I was immediately ejected within a minute for voicing my concern. Here's a screenshot another user took of them covering up the whole leak, saying 'our data is safe': https://i.imgur.com/LfkVl2S.jpg Here's another user who received the same email: https://i.imgur.com/CQoliD5.png For a 'decentralised' project, isn't this quite centralized, wherein the subreddit, discord, telegram etc. is moderated entirely by lead devs for this project.

If anyone has advice on how to report this exploit of my personal data to higher ups, please let me know. If you aren't concerned about this, consider the fact that you've provided them with extremely sensitive KYC data to participate in this ICO. Regardless of if KYC data was leaked, this is a clear breach of the Data Protection Act, which is appalling in a sector concerned with privacy.

Edit: Meanwhile in the Telegram, the admins claim this is completely fine because it's just a mailing list leak: https://i.imgur.com/etQxG5q.png

PSA: Back up your Google 2FA Codes!

    Posted: 12 Mar 2018 09:23 PM PDT

    Upvote for Visibility please!

Just imagine this very possible scenario. You've invested in a coin, and it's went up 1,000%, you're all excited. Then when you go home to unload your bags and rake in that profit, you realize you left your phone behind and have lost it. You can no longer enter your exchange account. You then email your exchange, but it's futile, as it'll take a minimum of WEEKS before you hear anything. Your coin that went from making 1,000% profit, has just massively dumped, and you're now at a loss. How does that feel, knowing you could've made bank, but instead you forgot to back up your 2FA codes.

This is just a heads up guide to those who may not be aware that your 2FA codes matter a ton, especially for most exchanges that could very well take months to get back to you (Bittrex, Coinbase, Binance) on resetting your 2FA code if you should ever lose your phone.

Most people will often OVERLOOK the 2FA setup text code that is shown to you when initially setting up your 2FA. They see the barcode and they immediately go to scan it and proceed. When you lose your phone, that 2FA code (in text format, or the barcode itself) will be used to recover your 2FA authentication into your account. You should ALWAYS back up the code or take a screenshot of the barcode and save it somewhere safe, such as an external storage device, like an offline USB, that you could enable Bitlocker on and encrypt, or write the codes down on paper. If anyone gets ahold of your 2FA codes and your login information, your account is as good as gone.

Another alternative would be to set up 2FA on a secondary phone as well. It's not uncommon for people to have more than 1 phone, such as myself. I have a secondary backup phone, that I can use as a secondary 2FA device (that never leaves home and stays offline) if I should ever lose my primary. You can actually just enter the same text code/Barcode into your secondary phone and it would still work just like normal. It can scale to unlimited number of phones. Just make sure you keep secondary/tertiary phones physically secure.

Nearly Half Of 2017 ICO's Already Failing - How To Protect Yourself

    Posted: 12 Mar 2018 05:45 PM PDT

Taking a look at Dragon, one of the largest ICOs ever.

    Posted: 13 Mar 2018 12:34 AM PDT

Dragon has two days left in their ICO, (one of the largest ever) 25% bonuses are being offered as a "closing down sale", but you best believe that DRG is nowhere near close to closing down. I believe the 25% bonus tokens have a 90 day lockup period. Source; https://tokensale.drgtoken.io/

In short, Dragon will provide an alternative to the current casino system. Dragon focuses on junkets. Junkets are VIP gaming rooms with extremely high stakes, millions and millions of dollars are won and lost daily in Junkets. A major junket in Macau (I know how that sounds, but there's a few) can be seen hosting more than 100 high rollers on any given day. On average, these junkets can turnover around $250 million per day.

Unfortunately, the organizers and the patrons both suffer huge fees. It's not uncommon for 7% fees to be paid by winners when taking their winnings home. 7% may not sound like a lot, but on a $10m win, you're looking at about 700k, just to collect it. Using Dragon's platform, VIP gamers will be able to convert their USD, Euros, JPY, or CNY into DRG. Once funds are in DRG, they're able to be traded for DGC, to be used at the table. DGC has a fixed value, and is used for betting. When done, the gamer can convert their DGC back into DRG, allowing them to sell for fiat, or any other crypto.

Dragon has the potential to really change the ways casions operate. Instead of paying 7%, players and operators are now able to enjoy severely reduced fees, effectively paying the TX fee only. Being blockchain based, DRG tokens and ownership are transparent. Operators can ensure that their Junkets are not being used to launder funds. This is a huge benefit as millions and millions of dollars are laundered through fiat at casinos.

These are some lofty goals, but what has Dragon actually accomplished?

Dragon has partnered with Dragonbet8.com, ensuring that DRG isn't only just for VIPs. At this point, DRG will be able to be used at Dragonbet8 to take part in games, in place of traditional funding methods such as Visa/Mastercard. Dragon has also partnered with 7Luck, one of South Korea's largest casino chains, with 6 locations throughout SK. Dragon will be opening "Dragon VIP Rooms" in 7Luck casinos, providing traditional casino services, with far reduced fees. How? DRG will be used. It may seem like to enjoy the benefits of DRG, you must be a high roller, however, that's not the case, as smaller stakes games will be held at Dragonbet8, where DRG funding is supported.

    Ethics

If you don't morally agree with gambling, that's fine, however, by using DRG, money laundered by terrorists, cartels and criminals in the casino sector is far reduced. DRG is the largest ICO ever, with more than 300 million raised. I suspect that after ICO, even more money will flow through DRG as players discover how they're able to save millions on fees.

Thanks for reading my write up! Do you agree with me? I want to hear your thoughts.

[SHADY] DADI ICO server got hacked, huge data breach, admins refuse to acknowledge the leak.

    Posted: 12 Mar 2018 01:39 PM PDT

Just received a charming phishing email. Hacker impersonated DADI.

I subscribed in DADI ICO in december, phishing mail is using my identity and e-mail. Only way that happened is the hacker got access to DADI.

    Email screenshot

(Obviously I removed my personal info)

Notice the weird myetherwallet.com address with dots under the m and e. (also the stupid shit about ethereum fork, this hacker isn't the brighest, can't even spell ethereum right)

Discord community manager in damage control mode

He deleted everything I said in the discord. Really shady.

    More discord drama

Edit: and Bjay deleted everything again, still not acknowleding the identity theft. Shady if true.
