Great Presentation by Peter Rizun on why a Segwitcoin is not a Bitcoin according to Satoshi's white paper. Segwit breaks the definition of Bitcoin as a chain of signatures. BCH is the real Bitcoin.

Star Trek meets Crypto! Make it so

    Posted: 09 Mar 2018 07:38 AM PST

A mate of mine in England is crowdfunding for his second Star Trek (The Next Generation) film. Don't roll your eyes though, the first one was actually pretty good and this new one apparently will be even better. He's only looking for about 9K GBP and considering how good the first one was with a budget of about 2K I thought I'd post this here and see if anyone wanted to help him out as it looks pretty cool.

Kind of a fun looking project anyway, and it could be a good way of getting a shout-out for your currency with an on-screen credit too, which he'd be happy to do if he gets enough to fund the project.

A lot of us probably grew up with some form of Star Trek - mine was TNG and so I've chucked a bit his way. Kickstarter doesn't yet accept crypto unfortunately, however I've setup some wallets if anyone is feeling generous

    • Bitcoin - 389tHf2uBhvtFcrHPXgt4g6EALieZp3KSg
    • Bitcoin Cash - 1NhuWEhR1fnMFFa2Sr98T6C8cqjbVMnB1v
    • Dash - XsRJibdYymChBiqT5uEjdFV6roxVGxXj9b
    • Litecoin - 3FYMA6SjEMgP3ieS9r4sbSGvttoMLH72LC
    • NavCoin - NTJrBsPCM4TzSeZRiKFh1boVyyvXN7PoVN

I will of course refund all your crypto to the receiving addresses should he not hit the Kickstarter goal.

Anyway here's the Kickstarter page: http://kck.st/2F0wirX

And if I didn't convince you, maybe this will might:

China's "two sessions" are opening in Beijing, will there be stricter rules on mining or cryptocurrency industry?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2018 11:22 PM PST

The first session of the 13th national people's congress has commenced in China. Some say they can't visit some exchanges like huobi.pro. Will there be stricter rules in China? Last time I see similar messages like this, China is planning to limit electricity to Bitcoin miners, and government bodies have expressed concern about energy usage. Like Viabtc, they said" Recently, due to policy changes, some of our long-term hosting partners are facing a crisis of farm closure as mining resources in Mainland China become more scarce, leading to rocketing costs of our cloud mining operation. To guarantee the long run of cloud mining, ViaBTC has no choice but have to readjust our maintenance fees. " S9 contracts maintenance fee ratio for S9 contracts was just adjusted from 6% to 50%. They offerred choice for users to redeem contracts. Fortunately that I gave up the idea of redeeming these S9 contracts from viabtc. They have resumed maintenance fee of S9 cloud mining contracts, bringing it down from 50% to the original 6%, just as promised. China accounts for around 70 percent of the mining capacity. Will there be greater effect on Crypto after two sessions in China?

At the most fundamental level, Bitcoin is a ledger. BCH is the continuation of that ledger, like adding more pages to a book, while the pages of Bitcoin Legacy are limited forever. There is only one Bitcoin that can reach a global audience, and that is Bitcoin Cash.
