A new investor's perspective on NEO Posted: 04 Feb 2018 07:41 PM PST Day in and day out, I keep seeing Reddit posts selling NEO to me. And I have to say they almost worked on me. I was ready to invest in NEO. However, my rule of thumb for investing is to understand exactly what I'm buying. So I put on my blinders, ignored the social media hype, and looked for critical voices on NEO... https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@kjnk/questions-about-neo [link] [comments]

US citizens are selling, rest of the world is buying Posted: 04 Feb 2018 11:36 AM PST I'm in Australia and watching the fluctuations in the market cap for the last week or so it seems to me that US citizens are the ones who are selling and Europeans, Asians and Russians are buying. What do you guys think of NANO (XRB)? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 05:07 PM PST Its sitting around 15500 Satoshis. It debuted on binance a few days ago at 23000. Good idea to put 10% portfolio in? [link] [comments]

Selling ICX on Idex. Nobody wants it apparently... Posted: 04 Feb 2018 10:02 PM PST I transferred a decent amount of ICX from MEW to Idex to swap it out for some CPC and MAN (not to shill but look into those 2 coins if you like money :) Problem is, the volume is so low I can't sell my ICX at market price for ETH. Has anybody had a lot of experience trading on idex? Is this common? Will I have to wait a while, or should I just send it to another exchange, get the ETH, and send it back? [link] [comments]
[Tool] Coin/Token Discovery aka recommendations Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:36 PM PST Problem: Discovery of new coins based on their characteristics. Example : Platform: ETH, NEO, NAS etc Currency: XRP, XLM etc Example : Recommendations for NEO People also talk about these other coins: NEOS RPX QTUM GAS STRAT LSK QLC ANT NAS Think like Netflix/Amazon for crypto. Do you think some tool like this will be useful? Let me know if you need any other feature which can be useful I am planning to add more features like * Overall sentiments for a given coin * ICO White paper analysis. Finding coins with similar idea or the problem they are trying to sovle. * Grouping Coins by categories fyi: Not a Front end engineer. Two bullish alts I've noticed, for buying the dip: EOS and LTC. But why EOS? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 07:52 PM PST It's pretty public that LTC had the Litepay announcement, but what happened to EOS to make it so bullish? [link] [comments]
Idea: Portfolio tracker that provides ACTUAL balances Posted: 04 Feb 2018 07:47 AM PST Cryptocurrency markets are ridiculously, laughably thin. Even heavily traded altcoins like ADA and XLM suffer from a lack of liquidity - the number of coins traded daily is only a tiny fraction of the overall coin count. The effect is to render both the market cap and the nominal price at any given time basically meaningless. Let say ADA is trading at 0.00007 (wishful thinking but stay with me), and i excitedly hop onto Binance to take a bit of profit. Lo and behold, there are only 10 coins for sale at every price between the nominal price on Blockfolio and 0.00005775. How aggravating! If I were to sell all of my coins, I would only net <75% of my total balance! It'd be nice if some portfolio tracker came along and calculated your coin balance based on the actual liquidation value of your coins at that moment (taking into account market depth and liquidity) instead of just multiplying all of your coins by the bot manipulated nominal price (at which you can only sell literally 5 coins). that is all. Hadron.Cloud Alpha stage underway Posted: 04 Feb 2018 03:09 PM PST This is probably one of the best opportunities currently with the market of ponzi/shit coins. They are offering a chance to mine without the need of a mining rig. I am currently part of their Alpha stage mining users base and with my crappy laptop, have been mining since Jan 15th.. no costs, no frills, no shills! Obviously so your dd but i think it's super refreshing to be able to take part in something special without having to back the project financially so early in the game. Too many ico's out there where it's just a matter of throwing money at the project. If you haven't looked into it yet, it's not too late! [link] [comments]
