PSA: /r/btc is actually where almost all the Bitcoin Cash discussion is currently happening Posted: 23 Feb 2018 01:44 PM PST To the 2000 users online here right now: For BCH discussion, this sub is the dedicated one, but in practice right now it all happens on /r/btc. (The naming is an accident of history.) [link] [comments]

CSW - Bitcoin is central banking 2.0 Statism Posted: 23 Feb 2018 11:51 AM PST https://www.yours.org/content/bitcoin-is-evolution--not-revolution-b118b792bbd8/ ''The fact of the matter is that bitcoin is not anti-banking. In fact it is not even anti-central banking. What bitcoin does is take banking to a place it is never been before, one where we do not need to trust politicians not to debase the currency as they have throughout history. Bitcoin does nothing to stop central banking at all. A fully Keynesian bank can be set to run a purely bitcoin economy. I'm about as far from being a Keynesian as anyone could be, but at the same time I will tell you that bitcoin does nothing to stop a Keynesian monetary policy. A central bank basing its holdings completely on bitcoin is possible to be imagined. The only real difference with this system from what we have now is honesty. The government can take out loans in the same manner that they do today, and they can inflate the currency in the same manner that they do today but the difference is that the results of their actions will be immediately seen and not hidden for a time when it is politically expedient in the future and when it is other people's problems. A Central bank based on bitcoin has the benefit of not being able to be secretly debased'' - CSW WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT OR SUPPORT CENTRAL BANKING IN A BITCOIN WORLD. STATIST! [link] [comments]
CSW - Bitcoin does not replace central banks? Privacy? Posted: 23 Feb 2018 11:18 AM PST Im concerned that CSW doesnt not want privacy features in BCH. and makes strange remarks about his love for government and central banks. I personally believe he is satoshi, but if BCH wont allow complete privacy as to undermine taxation then there has to be a fork or create make a new big block, nonsegwit crypto. It will skyrocket overnight. I want BCH to succeed but it needs to heed to needs of the market, what i and others need, not what CSW wants. If the devs dont catch up on this some other crypto will! Dont let your investment be in vain. I dont have to quote CSW, look at his twitter and medium, yours, articles. I need a crypto that will undermine taxation, like Rick F., Roger ver (great guys by the way) talk about, where governments at the most can attempt to convince you to give them your money. CSW may be a brillant man in economics and many areas but NOT in morality and ''governance''. I honestly see no point as a user to use crypto if theres no privacy, its difficult to get it from exchanges or other gateways and i as a user dont care if its faster or cheaper than visa, thats the merchant's problem, most users pay a premium way more than 2-4% visa savings. Please address privacy. Or else i can assure another big block, low fee, fast tx, no segwit crypto will be produced by the market! I love the tokenization proposals but think privacy is FAR more important. P.S. tokens should be private too. [link] [comments]
