Although fluffypony was kidding here, I think it would be good for Litecoin and Monero (2 of the top non-scam coins ) to work together. A while back, I proposed to him that we work on making it easy for people to do on-chain atomic swaps of LTC and XMR in a decentralized way.

If this materializes, would XMR most likely have to soft fork, hard fork, or could they just make a simpler coding adjustment?

Is Litecoin's partnership with Monero the big "unexpected surprise" we've all been waiting for?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 10:17 AM PST

The article displays a tweet from Charlie which suggests that by announcing a shared project between LTC and XMR would be "huge, but no longer an unexpected surprise." Is this the big one?

    Starbucks to accept Litecoin *speculation*

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 08:12 AM PST

Starbucks is going to accept Litecoin. Why am I specilating this you may ask. For a few reasons:

    1. Charlie Lee sold all his Litecoins due to conflict of interest.

    2. He twitted that there will be a HUGE surprise for 2018

    3. Starbucks just announced that they will accepted a trusted crypto but not Bitcoin. What else is a trusted crypto other than Bitcoin used for payments? It can't be B-cash right? So it must be Litecoin!
