It's been 8 fucking years and still no NFC Payments?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 07:21 PM PST

I want to tap my phone to anyone's and send them bitcoin cash.

I want to tap my phone at a gas station or point of sale location and pay with ease.

QR Codes are all good, but lets get NFC payments working and compete with Android Pay/Wallet Pay.

For the newcomers: Bitcoin Cash is not about hating on LN, second layers or side chains, it's simply about building Bitcoin as an independent chain rather than a centrally planned alternative to the design paper

Bitcoin Cash Supporters Prepare for the Network's Next Six Months

I think this might be the dumbest post I’ve ever seen on r/bitcoin, OP thought rearranging them into a circle will make people not realise there’s actually a few “hubs” in the network already.

Hard fork was the best thing that could happen. Every day I see less and less posts about Blockstream and Bitcoin Core, and more posts about adoption.

Overall feel of this sub is getting similar to /r/bitcoin during it's glory days (before small blockers hijacked it).

I'm happy to see positive stuff dominating most of the topics. Focus is finally shiftng from pointless bashing, towards progress and technical discussion.

Keep it up, I'm proud of you guys

You are being watched and followed. Trolls from here have followed me into unrelated non crypto subs they never visit to bash me for talkng about BCH.

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 08:13 AM PST

/u/heyzeuschrist is following me around and posting comments like this in response to my posts in unrelated subs:

/u/bchworldorder is a known scammer. Please ignore him. BCH is the ticker for Bcash aka "bitcoin cash" which is a clone of bitcoin trying to claim it's the real bitcoin. Please don't fall for the scam. https://coindigo.io/crypto-currency-scams/bcash/

Edit: those feels when your post gets way more views than expected...thanks all...I really dont like the spotlight that much though you guys can stop upvoting :)

Edit: sorry the post title is a bit sensational. Kind of comes natural with me. Didn't mean to sound so conspiracy/paranoid like.

The amount of brigading going on in this sub right now is a good indicator that they are worried.

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 12:23 PM PST

Just go through the front page posts. So many pro Bitcoin Core comments upvoted.

Ask yourself this: If they are so comfortable that SegWit and Lightning Network are the superior tech, why do they even come here to troll and brigade? Why the need for swarms of trolls. Why the need to censor out real users with basic and reasonable questions from their own community?

I haven't been to r/bitcoin in months because I know that this is not Bitcoin.

    This is.

And no amount of shillbot upvote and downvotes are going to change that.

Preaching to the Bitcoin Cash choir.

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 10:02 PM PST

I started calling Bitcoin Cash just "Bitcoin (BCH)", here is why.

    Posted: 27 Jan 2018 01:51 PM PST

    Some 3 months ago I wrote about Bitcoin legacy having made its "jumping the shark" moment, the cancellation of the SegWit2X was the cause for me to state that it had passed the point of no return. I wrote;

The fact that the Legacy chain is stuck at 1 MB, and likely always will be, confirms the Cash chain's viability. (more). Now the market will decide.

It is now up to you which chain will gain the most traction. It is now up to the next billion people to start to use Bitcoin Cash. In at most 6 months I'm sure we'll just drop the "Cash" and call it "Bitcoin".

After 3 months I think its time already to start setting this as a trend, its time to stop confusing the new market participants because the market has already chosen.

I realised this more when I walked into a conversation about Bitcoin, two businessmen were talking and it was clear one was convincing the other of how fantastic it was. I supported his enthusiasm.

I explained Bitcoin Cash as an upgrade to Bitcoin, so if they hear about high fees and slowness, they should make sure they are using the Bitcoin Cash version.

The simple truth here is that there is no reason to confuse people that are only now being introduced to Bitcoin, the amount of places where you can use your BCH as actual money is growing every week, while for Bitcoin it has been in decline for years.

I suggest everyone explain our favourite chain as "Bitcoin (BCH)".

Those that still fight us on this are best ignored, and there is no better way to do this than by no longer explaining the awful confusion they have been trying to create in the market for almost a year now.

Bread, stop wasting your time and integrate Bitcoin Cash! If we want adoption, Bread and Blockchain need to step up their game. Blockchain still haven't added BCH to their mobile app. It's almost like you guys are being paid to stall development 🤔
