Thank you to Ripple and all the early adopters and believers. The world will thank you very soon. Posted: 16 Dec 2017 08:25 PM PST I want to thank you, if any employees of Ripple are reading this. As well as the community that supported you and believed in you. I want to thank you for one of the greatest and most profound discoveries of my lifetime. What a joy it has been to discover ripple and put the pieces together and learn about this entirely new paradigm and world we are shifting to. It is so clear to me now that Ripple isn't about money- it's about agreement. Many people are going to be trillionaires many times over. Money at that point, for an individual, doesn't really matter. What matters is that we have a transparent, communally validated blockchain ledger that all nations and banks and world-changing tech agree upon. That in itself is not only a miracle, it's a hedge against the future. Ripple is insurance for humanity. My God, last night I woke up at 230 in the morning and started listening to David Schwartz interviews and talks. The way he describes the consensus protocol sounds like philosophy. It's all about community and agreement. I have no idea how the coding works. But I understand the fundamental principle that this is transparent and requires a consensus. As all organized human activity should probably be! Unfortunately, I believe that the wave of bitcoin disinformation is just beginning, which is bad for mainstream America who could gain so much from investing in ripple. By the way, i'm late to the game. .40 . But I also feel lucky that I don't have any old-school crypto biases like i'm sure many stalwart btc people do. It was easy for me to cut through the hype because I don't have any skin in the game. It's easy for me to parse out truth from speculation. Anyway, if anyone from the early Ripple community finds these words...just know I am one human being who is profoundly touched by the work you have done. I am amazed that there are others out there that are building the infrastructure for a more just society where value can be determined by human beings for themselves. I am humbled and grateful and happy. When I make some money I am going to continue writing for tv, which is my dream job, but I also plan on starting non-profits to help educate underserved communities in both mindfulness and how to participate in the new economy. With Love, Paul [link] [comments]

Realistically, how high will xrp go in the next 3 Years? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 06:16 PM PST I see a lot of people on this board acting like xrp is going to hit btc levels of being $15k+ per coin. But realistically, given the market cap and various other factors, I've seen people say that xrp has a potential of $3.50 max. Mayybee $5 if you're really optimistic. Does anyone have any details on these predictions? I think this board could use a bit realism atm since every user is acting like they're going to be millionaires, I'd like to clear some of this up [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Dec 2017 10:38 AM PST For real though. We've now entered a time where regular people are starting to trust crypto, but don't know what to buy or how to start. I work at a Wealth Management firm, meaning big money, and I got all the employees to sign up to get Ripple, of course explaining the potential risks. People need someone to get them started. Be that voice. I don't know how many people told me about bitcoin a year or 2 ago. If I knew then how easy it was to buy, I would be a lot better off now. Let's help everyone else get on this train! This is the future, and with Ripple, there's enough room for everyone! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Dec 2017 06:45 AM PST Hi Community, I purchased $1000 USD of ripple in the .70 area. I know I am late to the game but I am considering this a 2-5 year gamble and I am not using money I don't have obviously. After researching this coin the use of the technology made a lot of sense to me. If it ever caught on god help us on what it could be worth. So, hello! [link] [comments]

Revisiting the differences between Litecoin and Ripple; Ripple just for big banks? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 02:17 PM PST Hello All! I got in to crypto awhile ago, through the big 3 (Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum). Working in the banking industry, I discovered how wonderful of a solution that Ripple Offered in so many cases. With ACH transfers taking 2-3 business days and international wires taking up to 2 weeks, I was super excited about Ripple. So, I have a stash of Ripple, but I am considering liquidating all my Litecoin and putting it in to Ripple. In my perspective, Ripple actually has real world adoption and traction. However, I've heard that ripple will ONLY be for bank to bank transfers, where as Litecoin potentially could be used for every day purchases. In that case, I like the diversity of my current holding. But my question is, why can't xrp be used for day to day purchases, especially if banks are where you keep all your money? Is this just a matter that Ripple is focused on banks, or is there some limitation that keeps ripple out of day to day purchases? [link] [comments] |
