Laser cut LTC coin I made

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 03:43 AM PST

    I bought $10k LTC at $350

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 07:02 AM PST

So that means within the course of roughly 48 hours I lost nearly $4000. That might be the most money I've lost in that amount of time.

In 2014 I bought a bitcoin for $500 and then it dipped to $200-300 for a few years until 2017.

    I ain't sweating shiiiet.

Live by the coin, die by the coin.

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 06:02 AM PST

As I sit here watching my castle crumble, all i can think about is the fact I will die before I sell off. Ill take paper wallets loaded with worthless currency to the grave with me.

my cousin text me this morning, "live by the coin, die by the coin"

I deleted all the apps and alerts I had set. I am going for a run and then enjoying the coming holiday weekend.

Don't sweat the small stuff, nor things you have no control over.

Have a great weekend, and to those who celebrate a wonderful holiday.

To everyone blaming Charlie for the market correction

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 09:39 AM PST

Please, for the love of god, sell whatever LTC you have left and stop posting in this sub. If you weren't prepared to lose money then you should not have invested in the first place.

When Litecoin bounces back after this MARKET CORRECTION, it will rise again with more legitimacy as a truly decentralized currency.

LTC is not a stock, it is a currency. Charlie is not the CEO who sold his shares of his own company. Charlie sold his creation in order to fulfill what Litecoin was created to be... A DECENTRALIZED CURRENCY

Don't invest more than you can afford to lose in a market such as this one.

Let's hope we see a nice little bounce back. Congrats to the hodlers, congrats to the sellers for profit, and thanks for trying to the sellers at a loss.

this community is not being productive during these changes

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 05:42 AM PST

Honestly, the majority of the posts here are very emotional/subjective opinions that aren't based in very much, other than a desire to speculate in a market and make money. the HODL nonsense is just childish guys....you realize that there are real market forces, the combination of which drives this market. People aren't "brave" for holding, or wusses for selling, grow up. The market is indifferent to your reddit posts. If you have a technical expertise to share, or a new piece of analysis you found useful, something other than a really impulsive wish, then say so, otherwise let's raise the standard here.

Advice to beginners from experienced investors (submit yours to the thread)

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 10:20 AM PST

I thought we could get an advice thread going for new people who may be jumping on this crazy ride without any experience (which, really, is not advisable). I encourage everyone to add their advice to the thread.

    • It's not a loss or gain until you sell. If you bought at $200 and it goes to $300 but you're hodling, are you actually up $100. The reverse is also true. If you bought at $300 and it goes down to $200, did you really lose the $100? It's all hypothetical money still. It's the Schrödinger's cat paradox of investing.

    • Don't invest your rent, or your grocery money, or any money you will need in the near future. If you buy at $200 and then it dips into the $100's for 4 weeks you want to be able to leave it in until it comes back up into the $200's. If you put in rent money for a quick gain and you need it back by the 31st, that's where you make it hard on yourself.

    • If you're worried about losing your ass and are not willing/able to hodl, consider setting up stop-limit orders if your exchange offers them. Ideally, at the worst you break completely even. If you're lucky you might sell at the break even mark and then buy some new coins at a lower price than you paid initially. This would require you to leave your money in an exchange, which is not advised. If you're going to do this, do it wisely. Wait until you see a downturn approaching before sending your coins back to the exchange.

    • The final piece of advice (at least for now) that's served me well over the years, "Bulls make money, bears make money. Pigs get slaughtered." - Jim Cramer

Invest wisely, invest safely, and may you all make 'fuck you money' returns.

Why are ppl depressed? LTC just went on sale, Celebrate!

    Posted: 22 Dec 2017 08:58 AM PST

If you like something, and its price goes down, that means you can have more of it. That's happy funtime, ya'll. This morning felt better than when I saw LTC hit $420. This morning I could afford to buy again!

I'm trying to imagine the xbox reddit having a meltdown because best buy marked down the Xbone 50%+. Hard to picture.
