How long have correction floor prices lasted? seconds? Minutes? Hours? Posted: 27 Dec 2017 06:07 AM PST I continue to anticipate a significant correction in the short-term. What that correction will look like, im not sure. While some analysis says 11k range, others say 9k, 8k and even 6k. My fear is that if I do not set an autotrade, I will miss that floor, as it will only last a few seconds before it triggers massive numbers of buy orders. Thus--the true question would be how hard to gamble and how low to set the auto-trade. Does anyone have any info on how long the floor prices have tended to last historically? Thanks! Bitmex is probably about to start selling BCH, expect price to fall Posted: 27 Dec 2017 08:07 AM PST The following is copied from my original posted on steemit. Link I have been following some of the bitmex wallets that hold BCH for the last few months. At least for the ones I have been watching there has been no movement, until 06:50:49 UTC today Here is the link to the wallet in question. It seems likely that Bitmex are moving the coins to one wallet before sending them to an exchange or selling them OTC. This should not come as a big surprize as they have stated that they will be selling all their BCH into BTC on or before the 31st of December. How big will this be?I am not sure but Bitmex is likely one of the biggest holders of BCH as they do an exceptional large amount of volume. In the last 24 hours they have done >$1.5 billion worth of btc trading, compared to bitfinex at ~700 million and GDAX at 350 million. How to play itWell I can say my plans, I have shorted the BCH/BTC pair in the expectation of a spike down at least 10%. I will then close the short. And if BCH falls as far as 0.14BTC I plan to open a long term long. The short on the pair also allows you to be long BTC which could be an OK play if 15K is confirmed as support. Thanks for reading. AdvertisementMy favourite site for trading is Bitmex, as the future contracts allow for lots of arbitage opportunites and the leverage lets me leave most of my stash safe in cold storage. If you don't already use it and would like to sign up, here is a referral link that will get you 10% off fees and rewards me with 10% of the fees you pay, we both win. More postsIf you like this post there will be more like it on my posts page, this account will be dedicated to posting about trading cryptocurrencies and maybe a bit of general stock markets. If that sounds good please consider upvoting, following or resteeming. If you are feeling particularly wild you could do all 3. Posted: 27 Dec 2017 07:48 AM PST Hey everyone. I deposited euros on kraken, it show's that deposit was "success", but no euros have been credited to my account. In the past fiat would always be credited later than the deposit itself. It can take longer because kraken's servers are flooded or what? EDIT: Just recently got credited euros to my balance. I almost started to shit my pants, but now everything is very nice. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Dec 2017 12:08 PM PST I can't sign up for Bittrex. Kraken allowed me to create an account but disabled their verification system. Not going to trade on it without being verified; I heard quite a few people were getting their accounts frozen. What is the next best option? What do you use? [link] [comments] |

Good pairs for increasing btc amount Posted: 26 Dec 2017 09:17 PM PST Hey guys, was wondering what are your go to pairs for trading btc? I want to increase my btc amount but I really do not know which altcoins seem to be the "best" optiin to do that. Or is it rather "buy when they are low (like now) and sell when they are high (like in a few days)" Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Dec 2017 09:44 PM PST GDax and Coinbase are operated by the same company. So one can instantly and without a fee transfer coins or cash between the two exchanges. Currently Coinbase sees LTC at $280 and GDax sees it at $285. What's keeping me from buying LTC on coinbase, moving it to Gdax and selling it and repeating? Sure coinbase has a fee for this, but the spread is bigger than the fee I think. [link] [comments] |

Is there any one who has had consistent success on Bitmex? Posted: 26 Dec 2017 04:09 PM PST You hear a lot of horror stories of liquidations when people talk about Bitmex or trading on margin in general. I'm curious if anyone was able to overcome all of the dumb mistakes and create consistent winning strategies. I'm not talking about making one lucky home run that earned you $100k but rather a strategy or change of mindset that allowed you to consistently make profitable trades. What is your story? How many hours per day do you trade? Do you set stop losses for all trades immediately when you open them? How do you react to making a string of bad trades in a row? [link] [comments] |
