Analytics comparing subreddits about crypto coins trending and the coins growth correlating. Posted: 18 Dec 2017 01:47 PM PST So reddit subscribers and activity can be a very good indicator of which coins are going to explode soon. An example is cardano, I saw it on the trending subreddits banner in november when it had 4000 subscribers, and very little activity. I remember putting around 1K in this coin and sold when it increased 2 cents from 10 to 14 because it seemed to stagnate and I'm just getting into trading crypto, and made a quick $100 which was nice because I'm still a student, but this coin grew to 50 cents in the matter of a day or two, and the subscriber count and activity corresponded to the growth of the coin. I searched Google and found this tool I think you should all bookmark, https://snoopsnoo.com/subreddits/technology/internet/cryptocurrency/ You can use it to find trending crypto subreddits then explore the technology behind new coins or ICOs to see which ones are worth looking into. Another idea I had is for someone to make an Android or iOS app for tracking activity on google with SEO search tools and subreddit analytics just exlusively for crypto to track trending keywords in a web of keywords to find coins that have growth potential before they explode in value. If anyone with more coding knowledge than I have, (Just basic java right now I dont know how to use the API of reddit or crypto websites) to make a working app but if anyone wants to make ideas of what the UI would look like and how the app or website could function I feel like this could help us get ahead in making gains in crypto. Posted: 18 Dec 2017 06:54 PM PST Front page of coinmarketcap right now... Almost 98% of coins are GREEN. How the FUCK is this shit possible and how the FUCK is it sustainable? At what point does the bubble burst? Put your money into any random alt shitcoin and it's bound to go up. This is scaring the fuck out of me... About to move everything into ETH. What is the actual amount of money that has been invested in cryptos? Posted: 18 Dec 2017 04:57 PM PST I know about the market capitalisation, but it only reflects the last trade price times the quantity of coins. But in terms of fiat, trading crypto is a zero sum game, so people who have to buy the coins from the original owners (like miners), and the total money spend should be quite lower than the market cap. Posted: 18 Dec 2017 05:18 AM PST Like percentage of portfolio wise, in segments of high to low risk...to maximize returns for 2018. Tell me if you agree or what, but have a reason. BTW this is what I would tell anyone to do with 10% of their net worth. Paper trade or do whatever, and let's see if I predicted correctly. edit 1: everybody gets an upvote, I'm like Oprah today "you get an upvote, and you get an upvote, and you, and you," as long as you contribute to the discussion, as long as it's not complete gibberish. Which cryptocurrency is fully functional right now and you see a bright future with? Posted: 18 Dec 2017 05:52 PM PST I am curious which cryptocurrencies are ready for mass adoption in todays world. I think those ready and proven to be working are important. Please provide a name of a cryptocurrency and description for us to research. Thank you. I'll just mention Raiblocks (XRB) because I believe in this coin. Instant, No fees, Scalability. Fully functional! [link] [comments]
Fellow long-term bulls, what does your crypto portfolio look like? Posted: 18 Dec 2017 07:00 PM PST I don't care about amounts, or what you have in stocks or anything else, or what you else you may be planning. Just current allocation among cryptos. I'll start. 80% BTC, 5% BCH, 5% ETH, 5% ADA, 5% IOTA [link] [comments]
VEN Partnership, great news! Binance Posted: 18 Dec 2017 08:37 AM PST https://cdn.vechain.com/vechain_national_government_partnership_guian_release.pdf "I thought it would be good if we all provided info we can find on Gui'an. Here's my input: Aiming to construct an area appropriate for living, traveling and working, the Gui'an New Area, a national demonstration area in Guizhou province, is speeding up the construction of urban infrastructure and supporting facilities. The area has completed a water ecological control system, which integrates resource, security, environment, and landscaping. In the process of construction, the Gui'an New Area has revealed its characteristic architectures, combining traditional local culture with Western culture. The subway connecting Guiyang is near completion. Metro S1's startup will make the time from Gui'an New Area to Guiyang in only an hour. The college town in the area has full WiFi coverage. The site of Sino-ASEAN Education Week, affiliated school of Beijing Normal University and other service facilities will be built this year. The Gui'an New Area has attracted 38 top 500 enterprises in three years, including Apple Inc, Qualcomm, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, Foxconn Technology Group and so on. These enterprises' leading projects were successfully launched in the area. The Biological big data center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, astronomical data center of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) and the Supercomputer Center built in Gui'an New Area are helping the area move towards the direction of high-tech. Congrats to all holders." - @spboss91 from Vechain thread [link] [comments]

Need help with altcoin trading Posted: 18 Dec 2017 03:39 PM PST Hello everyone, I would like some help from my fellow altcoin traders, for a problem I have been mulling over the last few days that concerns fiat profits and it's one of the reason why I have yet to buy into any altcoin (even when I was really excited about some of their projects). Basically, I find measuring altcoins with any fiat like USD is misleading because almost every single altcoin is traded in BTC. Therefore, unless I'm missing something even if an altcoin increases +100% in USD that wont mean much as long as that altcoin doesn't outperform BTC. Also, even if I forget about USD pricing the volatility of BTC makes it hard to depend on for trading. I have tried searching/googling for more info concerning this, but not much can be found and all altcoin subreddits I have checked only discuss/analyze/hype/etc USD price increases/drops or news related to that. I understand buying into altcion because you believe in a project, but I have to be honest fiat is still important at this time and so is profiting ;) . Finally to add some info about my situation, I'm Canadian so that limits my fiat to altcoin choices even further. Thus, any transaction usually has to go like this: Fund exchange (Quadrigacx) -> Buy BTC/ETH/LTC -> Transfer to a trade exchange (Binance) -> Trade for altcoin Thank you for reading, any help/tips/info would be appreciated. PS. I might copy/paste this in several subreddits for more info. TL;DR: An altcoin goes +100% in USD so I want to cash out, but if that altcoin did not outperform BTC I wont profit am I right? If so, how do you trade altcoins? [link] [comments]

question about most profitable way to withdraw Posted: 18 Dec 2017 08:52 PM PST I exchanged all my alt coins for bitcoin on Binance today after making a decent profit. I now want to withdraw it from coinbase; I realize ether is better ( less transaction fees ) so I'll probably exchange it all to ether first. my question: is there a specific strategy to keep in mind when withdrawing to maximize profit. Like waiting for the price of btc/ether to change.. [link] [comments]
Some tips to try get over that beginner hump trading Cryptocuriencies Posted: 18 Dec 2017 06:10 AM PST Started trading a couple months ago and these kinda posts really helped me out to get into the trading space and understanding what blockchain is and the mind blowing applications it can have. So I decided I`d try my hand at it and hopefully catch some new comers and give them some good information on where to look and some hard lessons i've learned hopefully also pointing you to the general places to get better information. I`ve made a couple of mistakes so far and the worst one is panicking when I have done my research on an investment but selling because of panic. If you have done your research and you believe an investment will work stick to your convictions and if you have to sell, consider rather selling a portion. The FOMO is real if a coin has already shot up 30% and you`re not on the train rather not buy you've probably missed it and you might be buying the top but there are exceptions though, this is crypto after all, so just make sure. These reddit pages and the discussions are very helpful and can help to point you to new coins that can potentially make you allot of money. I have found the coolest random investments because of some of these threads. Just be cautious and always do your own research first. Have goals for your investments and stick to them don't be afraid to take some profits when you're not sure about the future of an investment anymore. Greed can make you do stupid things that's why goals are always a good thing and I try to stick to mine. Profit is profit even if a coin continues on it's moon bound mission and you decided to pull that ripcord float back to earth. If you don't know about it yet https://coinmarketcap.com/ shows all valuations from top to bottom, a good tool for seeing upcoming events I have found is http://coinmarketcal.com/ you can see all upcoming dates for coins and see if the price might shoot up for some juicy new news. Some nice exchanges are Bittrex and Binance, just including a referral link for binance ;), https://www.binance.com/?ref=10780386 . Those two are very nice and easy to use with decent trading volume, then there's also etherdelta if you want to trade with smaller upcoming coins, but do some research on it before you use it. A website thats also helped me immensely is https://www.tradingview.com it`s community of skilled traders that give advice and it's REALLY good advice, have boosted my portfolio like 25% just following some of the stuff. If you do end up using it follow alanmasters, he truly is the best a real gem and his trading tips are sooo good! Youtube like all all other areas of life is also really helpfull there are some excellent channels out there that give really good advice one I really like is Crypt0 ,his videos are very helpfull. But search youtube and find someone you like they can be a bit weird at time and some kind of give you a vibe of some guy with a trench coat in an alley wanting to sell you the future. Don't want to make this post too long so hopefully this helps someone to making millions or gets you on the path! Good luck! Found this link as well take a look at it ties in very well with what I said https://financialfitness.blog/2017/12/05/6-mistakes-beginners-make-investing/ [link] [comments]

Any speculation as to why the alt market is pumping so aggressively? Posted: 18 Dec 2017 05:49 PM PST These are my theories: 1) "Smart" investors who moved from alts into BTC a month ago are now moving back into their chosen ults now that BTC price has stagnated. 2) New investors are diversifying from BTC. I suspect Point 1 is having more of an impact than Point 2. Thoughts? [link] [comments]

any Mandarin/Japanese/Korean speakers around here? Posted: 18 Dec 2017 04:24 AM PST Forwarding this for a friend. He is offering easy contractor work to those that are interested in the crypto markets, and understand the crypto-world very well (for example, they've read and understood the white papers for Ethereum and Bitcoin). Well paid in cryptocurrency, remote, long-term. Add him on Skype (ID jaireaux@tutanota.com) if you're fluent in one of the languages from the title, while your English is average or above-average. Posted: 18 Dec 2017 03:46 PM PST Hey guys. I'm a newcomer to the exchange of cryptocurrency. I currently have a small budget (100 euro). What would you suggest for a newcomer? I'm not expecting to make a profit within a year. My plan is to add 100 Euro every month for the next 6 months (I'm unemployed, currently looking for work so that's all I can invest) [link] [comments] |
