Due to the censorship supporting core trolls loving to intentionally take things out of context to twist them around to mean something completely different than what they actually do, this AMA will work a little bit differently than most. Anyone is welcome to post their questions below, and I will be answering them live on video via youtube. The video stream will begin at 10AM EST, but feel feel free to post your questions now. Here is the LIVE STREAM, and remember:

/r/Bitcoin is completely censored, so a real AMA wouldn't even be possible there.

If you think consumers are going to throw away $100’s (and soon $1000’s) on transaction fees to open up a payment channel on the Lightning network, you are delusional.

Discovering r/btc after I was banned from r/bitcoin was like... Thanks guys!

    Posted: 18 Dec 2017 06:59 PM PST

Okay, so I've been on /r/ bitcoin for a while now and didn't know this subreddit existed. I feel like I have left a cult and am being brought into the real world. Can someone give me the rundown on what i've bee brainwashed into?

    Crypto explained to GoT fans

    Posted: 19 Dec 2017 12:08 AM PST

As someone who recently ditched BTC I just realized why /r/bitcoin hates Bitcoin Cash so much.

    Posted: 18 Dec 2017 05:53 PM PST

As I was washing my face just now I realized that the reason that the people over at /r/ bitcoin create so much FUD around Bitcoin Cash is that they're SCARED of it. They FEAR the real Bitcoin because they hate change, and they know that Bitcoin Cash is the better option. The people over there are just in it for the money they clearly don't care about the technology or usability ONE bit.

I don't have much crypto but I'm confident that the one's I've chosen to use will actually make the world a better place, unlike Bitcoin Core.

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 420 satoshis/byte. For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 94,920 satoshis.......$18 FOR A SMALL TRANSACTION

ATH warning again! BTC mempool (i.e. backlog of transactions) reaches yet another all time high, this time 203MB, estimated to be cleared earliest in February 2018. No immediate remedy other than BCH is in sight for the Bitcoin network.

From Bitcoin To Hashgraph: The Crypto Revolution - Hidden Secrets Of Money Ep 8

The whole thing is really worth watching..

Taken from one of the comments in the comment section:

    Yesterday:

12:46 - "Bitcoin is both a currency and a payment system"

    26:30 - "There's a small transaction fee"

30:40 "The answer to mankinds problems, a simple medium of exchange"

    Today:

38:58 - "was once fast and cheap is now slow and expensive"

39:05 - "bitcoin forking into multiple versions and alternative cryptocurrencies gaining market shares"

50:05 - "it's no longer a currency only a speculative vehicle for people to make gains from and not something which you could use in starbucks to buy a cup of coffee"

50:20 - "a friend of mine just did a transaction that took 4 hours for a confirmation"

51:20 - "some cryptocurrencies offer the ability to pay extra to have your transaction mined first and that really is not fair; a distributed ledger should record every transaction at the absolute time of event"

1:10:40 - "what has happend to bitcoin is that it is no longer the promise of a currency"

1:10:55 - "nobody is using it for transactions they're using it as a speculation now. So it's not living up to the original promise what bitcoin was supposed to be."

Bitcoin (Cash) lives up to all of the original Bitcoins promises.

    Well said..

Just traded my BTC for BCH and joined Reddit to tell you all how happy I am

    Posted: 18 Dec 2017 09:59 PM PST

So, I just bought some Bitcoin Cash today for the first time and I have to say I am pretty impressed by the speed and fees. I have been following this subreddit and a lot of others for quite some time but am kind of lazy and never made a reddit account. This sub pushed me to create a Reddit account. It was long overdue. Thank you :D

Just wanted to share the beginning of two new things here with you guys :D
