    Bitcoin Cash Why Bitcoin Cash?

    Bitcoin Cash Why Bitcoin Cash?

    Why Bitcoin Cash?

Hi mods, please put this short vid as sticky on why BCH. So much quicker for newcomers to get the idea.

Really good vid and discussion in comments.

Newcomers, of which there will be a lot, browsing coinmarketcap and reddit are simply super confused with all the different bitcoins.

Lowering the barrier to entry by having a short video outlining the differences between BTC and BCH might well be good for getting people aboard more quickly. Instead of wading through thousands of comments and trying to figure it out themselves piece by piece.

Adoption and buy-in is key and this shouldn't require doing half a study on technical pro's and cons. Majority of investors don't care or don't grasp. This vid helps to give the quick and dirty version.

In my opinion the link to the vid deserves a place right below the title of this sub.

Just a simple suggestion to increase Bitcoin Cash adoption rate...

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 08:51 AM PST

Whenever you want to buy something, and assuming it makes sense to do so, even knowing they don't accept cryptos, just ask them politely if they accept Bitcoin Cash. If they don't, they should consider it.

This makes them aware that Bitcoin Cash is money and if they get asked many times, they will start accepting it. This was how PayPal started by posing as buyers and asking the sellers if they accept PayPal. I'm not saying we should deliberately pose as buyers with no intention of buying, but we can learn from the same strategy that works to get PayPal off the ground.

Additionally as a bonus, they will get more customers over time because they will be listed at sites like https://localbitcoincash.org where bitcoin cash users can find them directly.

I don’t know if I fckd up the transaction

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:39 AM PST

    Hi all,

I've got a small amount of BCH. Around 0.18 and I wanted to send it from Cex.io where I bought it to my personal wallet. I made a quick withdrawal to test it and when I saw the amount I sent "pending" on my wallet, I sent the rest. The fee suggested by Cex was a bit high. 0.001 BCH, but I said "ok, I can't change it and it should be quite fast". Around half an hour after sending the funds, it's still showing as "pending". What really shocked me was that I checked Blockchain.info for the transaction and it said something like "Approximate fee for the transaction: 0.00000002 BCH". Does that mean Cex.io took the rest and sent the funds using a ridiculously low fee??

    Thanks a lot.

I'm confused about BCH and BTC

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 12:34 PM PST

I understand the differences between BCH and BTC but I'm confused about the goal of BCH.

Is the goal of BCH to one day overtake BTC or to coexist with BTC?

Also, with that much money from the big boys supporting BTC. Is it possible that BCH will replace BTC?

    Bitmain Payment method (Only BCH)

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 01:41 AM PST

If Bitmain only accepts BCH and all big miners around the world are forced to pay with BCH, there will be lots of money flowing to BCH. These big miners don't buy s9's for 150.000$, they buy hundreds of millions. And there is not only one big miner around :)

[Freebie] Primedice, earn bitcoins for free by rolling a dice.

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 08:26 AM PST

This is quite more effective than 999dice, you have infinite faucet claims to claim 5 cents in BTC and with a strategy you can turn it in some dollars and kill time when you are bored. Here you go:

    https://primedice.com/?c=TheLordDSK

Every time you loose your freeroll (Freebie of 5 cents) you can endlesly claim (Every 120 seconds) and the more you play the more archievements and levels you get meaning you can get a higher faucet next time. If you want to know my strategy just send me a PM here on reddit, downvoting my post means no strategy for you. There is a bingo in the chat and people having fun talking shit there, to enter the bingo i dunno lol you should read the admin named chatbox (Or bot).

Warning: If you are an active gamber or addict and have little time to loose, please consider leaving this post immediately. If you have time to invest or just bored you don't risk anything if you don't deposit so please be my guest, enjoy the fun. If you loose your freebie after winning a lot dont tilt, remember you can endlesly try again and kill time by doing something that can get you a free videogame or pizza LOL. Control your "Bankroll" take it like poker.

I would like to download the bitcoin cash blockchain for some analysis, but I don't see any Bitcoin-Qt-like client available for BCH. Where can I get my hands on the full blockchain?

Can you please explain John McAfee's vision on Bitcoin?

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 07:07 AM PST

He says Bitcoin will rise to a very high price and it seems he is referring to BCH. Can you confirm it?

I read various articles and could not come up with final conclusion.

I think he believes in this high price because according to his opinion $$$ will be 'worthless', devaluated.

Sub title suggestion 'adhering to the original vision' or something along those lines.

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 07:06 AM PST

I guess it'd be good to emphasize the fact that BCH is following the original whitepaper as opposed to BTC with all its proposed extra layers.

Of course daily useability is good to point out (with the word Cash), but also touching upon why BCH forked and that it was actually BTC that departed ways with the original bitcoin concept would be good as well.

Just a couple of words in the header and maybe link those to the original whitepaper with some of the crucial sentences in it highlighted.

Or if the whitepaper is too intimidating for newcomers maybe link to an infograph of sorts giving the basics of BCH and BTC philosophies.

The story of BCH is sound, it just takes way too much digging for the average user to figure out.

Yes, useability, fast and low cost transactions is number one and that is already being put in the spotlight fine, but vision and principles is an aspect that could deserve a bit more attention as well.

    Why buy BCH ?

    1. more practical; faster and cheaper
    2. it's the original bitcoin; bigger blocks, see whitepaper

That should do it. Maybe even put those two points smack on the front page of this sub.

With all the forks it otherwise really becomes one grey soup and people will just continuing to go for the one that's called bitcoin.

    War between BCH and BTC.

    Posted: 02 Dec 2017 05:11 AM PST

There's something I really don't understand going on right now and its that war between bch btc to know what's the best coin. People bashig the other coin. Its so childish and ridiculous it makes me sick. I think everyone should be free to use the coin that they want to use. Why bash on one another ? I personally own both BCH and BTC as well as many other alts and am pretty happy with that. You can go ahead and promote your favorite coin thats how we will eventually get mass adoption but please stop bashing other coins man thats fucking retarded.
