Posted: 01 Dec 2017 07:16 PM PST Zap dropped word of a WordPress plugin for the woocommerce platform. WordPress is used by like 20% of the internet. Woocommerce runs the majority of the eccomerce sites that use WordPress. If this plugin drops that means tons of eccomerce stores could immediately begin accepting LTC. This could be big big big! Thoughts? I've got like 40+ clients that could jump on this immediately when it drops. This will making purchases using crypto (especially LTC) even more mainstream! [link] [comments]

Guy who bought 10,000 LTC at $40 Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:28 AM PST I wonder if he listened and HODL? https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/6i2iow/just_purchased_10000_coins_at_40/ [link] [comments]
Litecoin is the payment cryptocurrency- it needs to be integrated with the major merchant services. Posted: 02 Dec 2017 10:57 AM PST We know that Litecoin is perfect for payments working hand-in-hand with Bitcoin. Small restaurants, shops, and services are not going to take the speculative risk of holding cryptocurrencies in this volatile early adoption stage. They require simplification and risk avoidance. This is why merchant services like BitPay and Coinbase Merchant are so important right now. Many of these services currently only accept Bitcoin, but it's time for them to accept Litecoin. We can't have posts like these go unanswered: https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/7h40e2/proposal_for_nyc_cool_guy_restaurant_to_accept/ We need to let these merchants know that it makes sense in the current environment to accept Litecoin, and they will add significant business by doing so: https://www.coinbase.com/merchants If you have others, add them here. Email, tweet at them, contact them however you can to let them know that Litecoin makes sense. And especially if you are a business that wants to accept Litecoin- you have the most pull. Right now through the holidays, with crypto in the spotlight, it's important for them to see that Litecoin- with it's relationship to Bitcoin and it's improved speed and transaction fees- is the best choice to increase real world cryptocurrency adoption. **Shoutout to those that already accept litecoin: [link] [comments]
Proposal for NYC “cool guy” restaurant to accept Litecoin. Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:43 AM PST My friend owns a very "cool" restaurant in downtown NYC that has lots of young 18-30 year old customers. He owns Litecoin. I spoke to him about accepting Litecoin at his restaurant and he's into the idea. What would be the best way for him to accept payments at his place? Thank you. Ps. I am going to be really disappointed if no one can make a recommendation for integrating this beautiful currency into daily life in a NYC hot spot. [link] [comments]

transfer to ledger nano s from coinbase Posted: 02 Dec 2017 11:41 AM PST When trying to transfer litecoin to ledger nano s coinbase only recognizes the legacy wallet as transferable and not the segwit wallet. Specifically, coinbase adds a network fee for the legacy wallet but not the segwit, and when i click send i receive an error that the address is not correct. Is this a known issue? Should I just send to the legacy wallet? Thanks for the help! [link] [comments]

Scammed out of 1500 on litecoin local, what are my options? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:57 AM PST Recently made a STUPID mistake, transferred someone 1500 for litecoin via a Zelle transfer. They duped me and admitted to it, I just don't know how to proceed forward. It was all I had in savings. I've been trying to contact my bank but no dice, I've gotten an appointment on Tuesday however I'm scared that might be too late. Any advice? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Dec 2017 04:18 AM PST Looking to get a few more coins in the dip. Using coinbase at the moment, interested in gdax but not sure of the difference between market, limit and stop. Any simplified explanation? Also am I better off sending money to gdax account using sepa rather than to coinbase as I hear it a lot cheaper in fees. Thanks [link] [comments]

Introduced a friend to litecoin Posted: 01 Dec 2017 09:21 PM PST He was already curious about it but never ventured any further . Informed him that there will be a whole lot of exposure to crypto currency in 2018 and that he should be a part of the trend at least conservatively. Helped him open his Coinbase account and buy one whole litecoin. Told him about how to track the ups and downs of the coin. Also, mentioned to keep an eye out for businesses that accept litecoin. Also, insisted that he buys at least 100 dollars worth of bitcoin because diversification, first coin, etc. Explained dollar cost averaging for future investments and bit more about the volatility of the crypto currency and not to panic because of it. Overall, it was a very good day: [link] [comments]
(Noob) Will Bitcoin integrating the Lightning Network hurt Litecoin? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:41 AM PST From what I understand, the lightning network is one of the best benefits of Litecoin. If or when Bitcoin integrates it, will the value of Litecoin go down? And I am sure there will be responses that say there are many other features of litecoin that are important, could you explain what some of those are? Thanks [link] [comments] |
