    Is it just me

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 09:51 AM PST

Or does it seem like BCH has been basically dead the past few days-- barely moving with big sell orders pegged way up on the order book (GDAX @ 3000 and 3100). Seems REALLY fishy/odd, almost as though the market is being kept in check artificially. Then again; maybe i've had too much eggnog.

Bitcoin Fees Are Out Of Control

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 11:42 AM PST

The people behind Bitcoin Cash know it is about improving the world rather than chasing lambos.

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 01:37 PM PST

I suggest using the term "Bitcoin BTC" rather than "Bitcoin Core". Here's why..

    Posted: 26 Dec 2017 08:36 PM PST

If we constantly use the term "Bitcoin Core", we're essentially spending a lot of marketing & branding resources to convince the world that "Bitcoin Core" = BAD.

But when they visit sites like CoinMarketCap.com or Coinbase.com to get started, they won't see the term "Bitcoin Core" anywhere. The term "Bitcoin Core" does not travel well.

Where is this flawed "Bitcoin Core" they heard so much about? They don't see it, so they may assume that the crappy "Bitcoin Core" has been removed due to its flawed nature, and they may consider buying BTC or BCH.

If we instead use the term "Bitcoin BTC", then it will be a seamless transition in terms, wherever they go. They learn that "Bitcoin BTC" = BAD, and they will see the tarnished BTC ticker wherever they go, and won't mistakenly buy the wrong Bitcoin version.

    Just a suggestion.

    Bitcoin Cash Price Analysis

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 11:04 AM PST

An interesting point of view concerning supposed upcoming forks...

How will the demise of Bitcoin Core not drag the entire market down with it?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 09:37 AM PST

Everyone here is so excited to see BTC crash. It seems that the entire market will crash if that happens. How can we avoid this and move forward getting BCH pairs into exchanges? Until that happens, we are all chained to the BTC Core ship. It goes down, we all go down.

Why Roger Ver Thinks Bitcoin Cash is Better than Bitcoin

    Posted: 26 Dec 2017 06:06 PM PST

Who pushes forward the bitcoin cash community and does it seem like a less centralised group than bitcoin main's shady operators?

    Posted: 26 Dec 2017 11:37 PM PST

I read the post that explained the shady going-ons over the last two years which lead to the fork that created bitcoin cash. It made me genuinely worried for anyone invested in bitcoin so sent the news to a friend.

He said he wasn't that concerned as he thought 'the bitcoin cash guy' (Roger Ver) sounded crazy (because they heard him on a podcast talking about his utopian libertarian ideas/projects).

I'm thinking this is a misguided way to look at the situation, but can't be sure there isn't another group equally as centralised on the bitcoin cash side. Anyone who's been around a while want to shed some light on the situation here?

New "investor" looking for advice (5k euros to put in bitcoincash)

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 08:31 AM PST

    Hello Reddit BitcoinCash,

After some discussions with a friend, it seems that the best cc to invest in is the bitcoincash (yay!). I have around 5k euros to invest; they come from a french bank.

I would like to know if what I plan to do is correct or if I should do differently :

Opening a coinbase account and buying bitcoincash from coinbase Transferring those bitcoincash onto a wallet (bitcoin.com wallet)

    Wait.

What do you think ? The idea is for me to retrieve more in a year or two.

I can only make the investment in a week : seems good enough to you guys ?

    Happy end of the year.

    Where to buy Bitcoin Cash?

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 08:17 AM PST

So I have been trying to get verified on coinbase to buy some bitcoin cash, its taken weeks. Finally managed to get verified and have a wallet 15dhd8LYhzoT6cnT57gsfffYnYsMoLYGs3 but now I find out they are not yet selling it. Does anyone know of any good exchanges that don't require like £200? I only want £50.

    Technical question: BCH block size

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 07:52 AM PST

I understood that the limitation of the block size (for BTC) was intended to limit the amount of strain of big DDOS like attacks on the network. How does BCH do without?

    http://hizliresim.net/i/2017/12/27/2017-12-27-1837031366x768scrot_20153927.png

    Current Features:

    • No email, ID verification, or downloads required
    • Importing wallets with WIF key
    • Generating a new address with a button click
    • Sending BCH
    • Checking your balance in the transactions tab

I'm planning to launch this on the 1st of January at the domain http://easybitcoin.cash as a gift to the /r/btc and /r/bitcoincash communities. I'm hoping that with this I'll be able to help with the adoption of Bitcoin Cash. Stay tuned and see you on the first day of 2018!
