Just got my best Bitcoin experience thanks to Bitcoin Cash

    Posted: 14 Dec 2017 01:20 PM PST

First time I experienced Bitcoin Core congestion, I went to /r/bitcoin and asked what was the problem with my transaction. They said I was a troll. Tried to understand and someone PM'ed me inviting me to /r/btc.

After Bitcoin Cash fork, I was a bit skeptical. But I've read and looked at things more in depth for the sake of an article I wrote about Bitcoin politics. After this investigation, I finished being a Bitcoin Cash supporter even though I had none (sold all my BTC before 2016).

Since then, I bought some and today, when I learned that Blockchain.info has added support for BCH, I jumped there and made my very first BitcoinCash transaction… That was smooth! It got confirmed after only 5 minutes for only 0.02 USD fees.

Thanks to all the community and the developpers that kept us in line with the real peer-to-peer cash vision. I've always seen cryptocurrency as a currency (proof is that I used all of mine to buy commodities… sure I should have hodled some, but I have no deep regrets; cryptocurrency offered me the chance to buy things online while there were no other means to pay for them, back then).

    Keep the good work!

Small blockers forget that Bitcoin is for 99% of the world...

    Posted: 14 Dec 2017 04:42 AM PST

Not 99% of full node operators, ie access to twitter and first world problems.

The goal of a cryptocurrency is to be able to exchange value with each other, face to face, or across the globe. Fast and for little fee without censorship.

Miners all over the globe provide that censorship resistance and decentralization.

Bitcoin should be used as Cash. Since both Bitcoins have 21 million coins, they are both automatically a store of value. 2018 is going to be interesting for the entire Crypto space.

    Coinbase and Bitcoin Cash Discussion

    Posted: 14 Dec 2017 09:32 AM PST

I know many people believe there will be a BCH selloff once it is released on Coinbase, however I have an alternative idea. It is obvious Coinbase is the path of least resistance for newcomers to the crypto space and any coin listed provides extreme ease of access to the coins without jumping through hoops trying to buy altcoins on other exchanges. Proof of this is the recent BTC ATH with Coinbase leading the charge by a large margin. If BCH is still in bullish mode around Jan 1st (extremely likely), wouldn't all the new public money actually pour into BCH to help balance off the selloff if any? Would like to hear other thoughts on this.

    Bitcoin Cash branding

    Posted: 14 Dec 2017 06:11 AM PST

As we all know, branding is important. Branding is why people will often pay more for a brand they've heard about and trust (ahem, Alienware). I think because of the branding BCH has, it will no doubt shoot to the top with the influx of new adopters coming from the mainstream. It also helps that it's so easy to buy and being integrated with so many platforms.

I know this is purely subjective, but I can envision is being plastered all over stores and malls, and eventually being the dominant universal crypto.

What are your thoughts on BCH's branding impact on its price?

I am seeing the same pattern which happened last month, huge pump. But slowly, so I am feeling this is the time when all other altcoins halted, this is going to be a real move.

    Bitcoin Cash to Coinbase?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2017 10:14 AM PST

    Hey Guys,

I know Coinbase is handing over the bitcoin cash they owe to their customers. Is it official Coinbase will be adding BCC to it's exchange?

Lastly, do you think people will begin to sell off their BCC right away?

Is there a BCH roadmap somewhere?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2017 11:51 AM PST

Wow did anyone catch those big buys on bitfinex?

    Posted: 13 Dec 2017 10:38 PM PST

There was an 80 bch buy, followed by 40bch followed by 30bch, all within 20 seconds, smashed through the 0.12 sell walls this is insane my god. There are some very wealthy people in bch right now, this pump is not artificial, btc money is coming in..

Have people finally woken up to the real bitcoin?

Edit: as i wrote that another 50bch buy came through
