Ripple: New Partnerships and Little XRP Appreciation (to be expected).

Anyone who thinks XRP is lagging ...

    Posted: 26 Nov 2017 06:36 PM PST

Just remember, we have added close to 25% to the price since the Amex announcement. It's not hard to imagine Escrow and new partners announced in December adding the same again. 50% growth in the quarter - if you scoff at that then you are just greedy and irrational.

Sell the Bitcoin news. Buy the Ripple rumor.

    Posted: 26 Nov 2017 04:14 PM PST

I've seen two noobs post about their Bitcoin "wealth" on Facebook in the past 24 hours. This is my sign that it's got waaaaay overhyped. I just sold my Bitcoin for XRP. Ripple is the best rumor I know.

Despite all the good news surrounding ripple, why has the price not fluctuated much?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2017 05:49 PM PST

Ripple seems very undervalued, why has the price not shot up, while other (what seems like) useless coins have?

An insight into the minds of Korean investors

    Posted: 26 Nov 2017 01:06 AM PST

    Source: http://news.joins.com/article/22097943

    Interesting points in this article:

    1. Ripple goes by the nick name 'Fooled Again by Ripple' since investors buy expecting the price to rise, but it always comes back down and disappoints them.

    2. Ripple is extremely popular with Korean investors. Ripple consists of 55% of Bithumb activity. 70% of Ripple trading comes from the Korean Won.

    3. Korean investors love Ripple because of the cheap price. For the price of 1 bitcoin you can buy around 34000 XRP. The mental obstacle to investing in Ripple is very low because of this fact.

    4. Ripple is seen as more valuable than Bitcoin because Bitcoin is volatile, it takes 3-4 hours to process, and therefore there is no reason to use Bitcoin for transferring money domestically or internationally. Ripple on the other-hand has a solid goal and a road map. Bitcoin has no product and is viewed as a bubble, but Ripple's success is seen as XRP's success.

    5. Investors are frustrated because Ripple's price doesn't seem to reflect its successes. There are rumors that Ripple is deliberately suppressing the price of XRP.

I think this article shows you the typical Korean mindset into Ripple. The sluggish rise in price could be that Korean investors are simply sitting and waiting for a ground-breaking news (bigger than AMEX?) before fully committing since they've been burned so much.

Let me know if you guys want to hear more Korean news regarding Ripple/XRP! :)

What's the easiest platform to buy Ripple with a credit card (US)

    Posted: 26 Nov 2017 08:03 PM PST

Tried to signup for Bitstamp but their verification requirements are a bit extreme. I'm not scared to submit it, but I'd rather not give them my social security number for one.

Also I don't think I have any official documents less than 3 months old with my name and address clearly on it. (Tax papers are outdated, bank statement doesn't have the address, and I don't have the utility bills in my name)

Is there any easier place that's legit? I've been told kraken is okay, but then other people jump on and say their website sucks. What do you guys use?

Would be nice to have some sort of iPhone app as well, but if not I'll live.

When do you think Coinbase will add Ripple?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2017 07:56 PM PST

I'm a newb to XRP and I have a few dollars tied up on Coinbase and Bitstamp... When do you think they'll add it? Before Bitcoin Cash or after? Never? If it's added what will it do to price?
