    SO.... K.I.S.S....

HODL - YES we mispelt "hold" due to one guys misspelling on an old forums and this is a religious saying of the litecoin community now. HODL THE DAMN COIN!!!!!

YES IT WILL DIP.... You may have bought at the top of the run after thanksgiving.

YES you may have bought it after the run we are about to have after the episode of "The Big Bang Theory" runs their episode ALL about BITCOIN!!!!. New users, more money, prices rise!!!!!

Do not fear it dropping...Because when it does drop, it just means more of us are waiting to BUY!!!!!!!!!!

NEW users join coinbase everyday... Just think about it for a second. They average 30k AVERAGE a day... After thanksgiving it was 100k!!!! What about Christmas, New years?!?!

HODL STRONG LITECOIN !!! LET THE CHIKUN LIVE ON FOREVER!

EDIT: I see many of you are saying you can't buy because coinbase is down. Use more THAN ONE EXCHANGE. Coinbase is definitely the most popular and I can understand if need time to upgrade or fix problems. Bitstamp is another good exchange for U.S. Residents.

Best Wallet to use for Litecoin?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2017 10:12 AM PST

Looking to initially invest in Litecoin but not sure which wallet is the best to use. I realize many people are asking this just for the fact that coinbase is down at the moment, but for future reference as well is coinbase the best bet to make the purchase or are other sources recommended. T

Bcash is literally a shittier Litecoin yet has already gained traction due to hijacking Bitcoin's name. NOW is the time for Litecoin to assert itself as the #2 behind Bitcoin.

    Posted: 30 Nov 2017 11:09 AM PST

Bcash is already being advertised heavily (mostly in Europe) and merchants are looking to it over Bitcoin due to it's quicker transaction time. I can guarantee their decision to go with Bcash is simply based on name recognition but regardless this is what we're dealing with.

It is very possible that Litecoin will get lost in this bcash hype. And I don't mean in the crypto world but in regard to merchants, both online and in the real world alike.

As stated in my title, now is the time for Litecoin to assert itself as Bitcoin's #2. Advertising, word of mouth, whatever.

Ideally an "official partnership" between Bitcoin and Litecoin could lay bcash to rest but this isn't very likely.

That snake Ver knew hijacking Bitcoin's name would get the attention of the general public and snatching the bitcoin.com domain was the cherry on top.

I won't stand for some snake oil salesman to takeaway from Litecoin's superior technology, developers and vision.

    Buy the dip denied?!

    Posted: 30 Nov 2017 05:55 AM PST

So noticed LTC just dropped below 60 GBP, thought I'd take advantage and buy more on coinbase, only to be told "buying litecoin has been temporarily disabled".

Is this just me or everyone? What's going on?

    Any good wallets for mac?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2017 11:18 AM PST

Just started investing into coinbase and wanted to take others advice in moving my crypto to a wallet. All wallets I've tried aren't backed up by apple so I am kind of sketched out on downloading an unknown app. Any recommendations on reputable apps that don't Fuck my computer?

    1. Do intermediaries need the quality of the goods?
Intermediaries do harm for production chains and it is a well-known fact. Because of them, the cost of goods increases, and the products do not change.
However, many still think that intermediaries improve the quality of the goods. Let's see why it's a wrong point of view.
No intermediary (even useful) works directly with the product. Intermediaries may sell products, deal with regulatory issues, obtain certificates and other related matters. But it is the quality of the goods (that is, what the consumer expects from the product) that is not provided by intermediaries.
Agree, the end customer does not care about issues related to the sale of products or obtaining permits. He needs to get the goods of the required quality in the right time. The rest of the final buyer should not be interested - it monitors only the quality of the goods.
And it can be provided only by the manufacturer. That is why it is important to build direct communication between companies that produce goods and buyers of products.
After all, the consumer will not contact the manufacturer and ask questions about how the certification was held, how the permits were obtained and how the sales channels were located. And here to issue to the supplier the claim connected with quality of goods, consumers can, than often and use.
But in modern supply chains of goods information from the end customer does not reach the manufacturer immediately. At first it passes through 5-10 intermediaries, and only then gets to the company which directly lets out production. Here, it seems, it is not even necessary to say that the delivery of information can be spent several months, and their quality will leave much to be desired.
It is necessary to remember that intermediaries are not those people on whom it is necessary to rely in a question of quality of production. They are not interested in that the goods satisfy needs of the consumer: the main purpose of the intermediary - quicker and more expensive to sell production. Only the manufacturer is interested in the quality, because its name and reputation in the market depend on it. And consumers should be able to apply to companies that manufacture products directly, bypassing intermediaries.
They will be able to do this using the Yodse platform. There are no intermediaries on Yodse: only consumers and producers get access to it.
