How-To: Ethereum transactions for >$0.000001 using MyEtherWallet Posted: 22 Nov 2017 12:22 PM PST Based on the excellent statistics of https://ethgasstation.info/ I noticed that transactions are possible for less than 0.1 Gwei. By default the MyEtherWallet interface does not allow you to select less than 0.1 Gwei as Gas Price. Here is how you can achieve transactions for almost nothing (example using Chrome):
Now you can create a transaction as normal. My test transaction when through in a 7 minutes spending the absolute minimum of 21000 wei, see; https://etherscan.io/tx/0x656b09d8664c909c04159ae19487885dde67e31e9e816867a83deb7805f9625e According to ethgasstation there are currently 17% of the miners that accept this low gas price setting, with a probability of 93% for mining withing an hour! No guaranties for the future... EDIT: as note in comments, actual transaction costs were $0,0000000000075 [link] [comments]

Can Ethereum defend net neutrality? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 07:05 PM PST Is there a way to create some form of decentralised internet service provider that won't be hugely inefficient? [link] [comments]

How would new net neutrality rules impact ethereum and blockchain in general? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 12:02 PM PST Curious if this would impact us in the states? Does it already affect people in Spain and Portugal, being they have these rules? [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Nov 2017 11:52 PM PST I have longed the day when i could just enter an email-like address and recieve or send funds to it. When ENS came i was going nuts thinking this is it. But after 6 months since its release, no exchange uses it. like really, no exchange. Havent seen one sigle use of it outside of MEW. Why do you think that is, and when (or if) do you see it happening? [link] [comments]

Bookkeeping Tools for Ethereum Expenses Posted: 22 Nov 2017 02:06 AM PST Hi, are you aware of any tools to would help with monitoring and reporting Ethereum transactions in context of bookkeeping? Basically our accounting department is looking for a convenient way to track and report our costs around operating on Ethereum. So I'm looking for tool that would allow me to follow some accounts, get transactions with data like ETH value, gas amount and price, and fiat value. It would be cool if it had features like grouping transactions, labeling them, reporting from time periods etc. We could write that ourself but maybe there is already something existing with nice UI etc. I did quick search bot queries like "ethereum accounting / bookkeeping", but it doesn't return anything meaningful.
