Thinking BTC & BCH may eventually reach an equilibrium...

    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 07:36 AM PST

With BCH acting more as everyday use and BTC acting as more of an asset. - And then trading between the two keeping price relatively stable between them.

    Any thoughts?

Where can I buy BTC and take delivery to my wallet?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 08:30 AM PST

Hi where can I buy BTC and take actual delivery?

Most of these trading platforms don't let you take delivery of the coin itself.

I would like to buy some and actually own it.

    Thanks

THEYMOS PLANNED TO HAVE BITCOIN KNOTS REPLACE BITCOIN CORE AS MAIN CLIENT.

    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 01:30 PM PST

The latest incident involved a message on the Bitcoin.org website claiming the Core client would be replaced by Bitcoin Knots. While the note was removed quickly, it still sent an interesting message to the community. Every time Theymos so much as farts, the entire Internet is up in arms. While it is certainly true this one individual has too much control over Bitcoin-related media – including Bitcoin.org, BitcoinTalk, and /r/Bitcoin.

The message in question pertained to potentially replacing the Bitcoin Core client with Bitcoin Knots. As most people should be aware, Bitcoin Knots is a valuable alternative client for Bitcoin and also offers full node capabilities. However, the message posted on the Bitcoin.org website talked about how the time had come to steer away from using Bitcoin Core. It was an interesting statement, especially given all of the advocacy Bitcoin Cash supporters have been doing in support of a similar agenda.

Why Bitcoin Has Always Been the Best

    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 01:23 PM PST

Bitcoin has always been the most attractive digital currency because of its simplicity. Satoshi Nakamoto, whether actually Japanese or not, has an obvious affinity for Asian culture. Traditional Asian elegance has always been about maintaining minimalism.

For instance, the highest, purest form of sushi is simply a piece of fish, on a bed of rice. No need for a thousand ingredients - purees, sauces, foams, and emulsions. Too many flavors and textures dilute the essential flavors the chef is trying to display - they remove focus.

One of my favorite Bruce Lee quotes, which I try to implement in my daily life is: "It is not daily increase but daily decrease, hack away the unessential."

Bitcoin is peer-to-peer cash. That's all it has ever wanted to be, and that's all it was designed for. If you want smart contracts, web services, digital real estate, there is another blockchain for it - Bitcoin is cash.

Within Satoshi's White Paper he makes sure to highlight his idea of elegance twice, once in the abstract and once in his conclusion.

"The network itself requires minimal structure." "The network is robust in its unstructured simplicity."

Bitcoin Core has implemented SegWit, and couldn't even gather the support to upgrade to a 2mb block. Therefore, scaling can't be "solved" until the Lightning Network is added. Then people are saying you still won't use Bitcoin Core, because fee's will still be high, and transactions will still be slow. Core supporters are recommending you to actually buy and transact in Litecoin, which is then supposed to be cash.

Where is the elegance? Where is the simplicity? Where is the "Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System?" Where is the Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto envisioned?

Bitcoin Core is NOT Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash is that Bitcoin.

Should we be worried about Bitcoin Gold?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 12:11 PM PST

It seems BTG (Bitcoin Gold) is a sleeping giant. Its quietly (like a dark horse) arrived at #5 on Coinmarketcap. This has never happened so quickly with any other coin in the history of crytocurrency! Should we be worried? What does everyone think? I know this is the BCH sub and I am invested in BCH however I want to protect my investment etc...

I hope everyone is ready to go to moon real soon!

    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 09:36 AM PST

Looking at charts, a moon is due (price correction) BCH is behind the momentum, shit is gonna pop. We might see another small retracement in the next day or 2 before launch again sometime in the next few days, but 1600 is safe. New support will be near 1900.
