Tip: How to fix an AMD rig from crashing in Win10

    Hi,

I wrote a few months ago about the problems I encountered with my AMD rig after adding two RX 6600 non-XT, to my rig with 4x RX 6600 XT 1x RX 6800.

Around the end of November the rig started crashing more frequently, and I was happy if I could have 4 full days without a crash, which had to be followed by reinstallation of the AMD drivers and a reboot before I could get it mining again.

In a gaming thread I found a tip to add a DWORD/QWORD named TdrDelay, with a hexadecimal value of 8 under the following path in RegEdit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

To my surprise I found that the "windows_tdr_fix.reg" file that comes with TeamRedMiner already added this. BUT I increased the value from 8 to 30, and since then I've been crash free for 40 days.

(It does not matter if you have 32 or 64 bit win10 when adding a DWORD/QWORD.)

A lot of AMD bois probably already know about this, but I hope I can spare someone from some of the headache I endured

    Best regards

tl;dr: Add a DWORD/QWORD named TdrDelay and set the hexadecimal value to 30 in RegEdit:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

Zergpool - Mine X and get paid in X

I just found this pool and really think it deserves more love. The biggest part about this pool that made me want to start mining at it was the fact like the title says you can mine whatever and get paid in whatever. I know a lot of people who mine etherium and exchange it to another coin afterwards because ethereum is just that much more profitable. You often lose a pretty good chunk of what you've earned doing this. Here you just get coin you want directly, this paired with the 0,5% pool fee might save some money for alot of the people here. They also support a extreme amount of different coins to mine. Another reason i bring this pool up is simply because i support spreading out the hashrate so that one pool doesnt have the majority. If anyone here's interested and want help setting up mining there in either windows or hiveos id love to help.

Here's a picture of the payment rules

Why don't you spend time on improving ETH fees problems instead, Mr. Vitalik?
