Anyone had the same issue and know any possible fixes? I want to keep my PC mining while I'm away at work but during break I also want to use Nvidia gamestream to play games on said PC, I can stop the mining remotely but the problem is in order to play games I have to restart my PC, gamestream wont work till I pass the login screen and without anyone at home to pass the login I cannot reconnect

    Powering multiple risers....

    Posted: 10 Feb 2022 11:21 AM PST

Hi all. I tried researching the following question but could not find a reliable answer, and was hoping someone could shed a bit of light on the following scenario...

I intend on using an x11 breakout board with a 1200w server psu to power several 5700 xts. How many pcie risers can i power with a single 6 pin power port from the breakout board? Ive seen a variety of answers, but was wondering if it is safe to split one of the sixteen 6 pin power ports to power 2 different risers? Or would it be better to split the power port to 1 gpu power input + its riser, then power the second gpu power input using a separate 6 pin cable from a second power port on the breakout board?

    Thank you.

    Posted: 10 Feb 2022 08:40 AM PST

I have a 3070ti on windows that is on trex now but I want to switch to lolminer to dual mine eth+ton but I use the trex batch file to set my oc and want to do the same for lolminer as I do not use afterburner. Is there a way to set the oc in the lolminer batch file? Thanks!

Is a 10 mhs loss in my Ethereum hashrate reasonable for dual mining? My alephium also hasn't shown in the wallet for 2 days with the right address. On my 3060 lhr v2 which I overclocked

Thought I'd just give it a crack. Any over clock recommendations for TON with an EVGA RTX 3080 non-LHR and RTX 3060 V2 LHR? Hiveos

My basement flooded along with part of my mining rig

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 08:01 PM PST

I built a wooden frame where the GPUs sit higher and the PSU and motherboard sit lower. I noticed the frame was wet only on the bottom portion so luckily all my GPUs are dry, however the PSU and motherboard to which they are connected to were completely submerged.

With that being said, the USB and WiFi dongle are fine, however I have yet to test the other components as they are still drying.

Is there any chance my rig could survive?

Note that I am a bit skeptical about testing the flooded PSU at this point.

Did anybody else experience this before?

Recently discovered you can input overclocks into t rex miner and have been playing about with absolute core clock.

    At the moment with these settings: pl=57 mclock = 1380 = absolutecore = 1100 fan = 80

    I'm getting 63mh @ 119w with 43c temps.

    What’s the deal with TON

    Posted: 10 Feb 2022 03:34 AM PST

I had never heard of ton until a week ago. Now everyone is dual mining it. What's the deal? Can it be mined on trex? Do you need a 12gb gpu to dual mine it? What's the benefit over other coins you can dual mine?

    Keep getting this Gminer error:

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 10:45 PM PST

"All devfee mining pools are currently unavailable."

It basically just restarts my miner every once in a while. Happened like 3 times in the last 2 hours. Downtime is like 30 seconds. I only notice because I hear all the fans shut off then start back up again. Is there anything I can do about this? Is anyone else having a similar issue?

I'm mining ravencoin on ravenpool.ninja using a 3080 Ti on windows 10 if that information makes a difference.

Best way to control pc fans on a Hive rig?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 07:03 PM PST

I am wanting to add in a few pc fans to my open air Hive rig and wondering what the best way is to control them? I do not mind plugging a controller into a regular outlet instead of using one of the psu cables. I would love to find one that I could just plug in and it have dials on it for speed control but if that is expensive then just something to power them. If I plug a pc fan directly into a 4pin on the board and do not try to control it any will it just run at 100% all the time?
