XRP max supply compare to others and why need to propose the burn for healthier ecosystem Posted: 23 Jan 2022 08:52 AM PST Max Supply: Cardano (ADA) - 45 Billion Stellar (XLM) - 50 Billion Hedera (HBAR) - 50 Billion XDC - 37.5 Billion XRP - 100 Billion (counting drops = 100 quadrillion) Need to Burn excessive XRP for healthier ecosystem: To become decentralized Asset class (Ripple has 6 billion XRP on hands and 47 billions in escrow) To get gradual price increase (scarcity) To decouple from bitcoin price fluctuation (supply and demand) To get more stable price (better for transactions - less spread/slippage) Banks/Entities will buy XRP from holders, or use private/public liquidity pools, in which holders will participate and be rewarded. XRPL cannot do 1 trillion transactions per minute, thus no need to have more than 53 billion XRP (counting drops 53 quadrillion) And if let's say $10 per XRP - it's 530 billions (530 quadrillion) P.S.
