People called it a dead shitcoin. For that reason, I have increased my Bitcoin Cash stack today. Posted: 06 Jan 2022 11:50 PM PST I was so happy to be buying at $900 at April because it was at a superb price compared to the 2017 peak. Today, there is a massive amount of fear, uncertainty, and doubt following a price drop to below $400, and I had people laugh at me that I have bought the fake Bitcoin. I have lowered my price average. Nearly my entire portfolio had been converted into Bitcoin Cash. When most people don't care enough that they call it a useless investment, it only just comes to tell that we are early. I am still holding onto the belief that Bitcoin Cash will surge, because in the end of the day, it is a reliable, widely accepted low fee cryptocurrency without sacrificing any decentralization. Why don't we like bitcoin here? Posted: 07 Jan 2022 03:03 AM PST So I found this sub expecting it to be a discussion subreddit about bitcoin, hence the r/btc name... I've found that people only talk about bitcoin cash in here and most people shit on bitcoin along with any other coins. Why don't you guys just use r/bch or something? I'm genuinely curious [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Jan 2022 02:59 AM PST (PoW) When the "winning miner" solves the hash 1st, what exactly are the other miners validating or agreeing with (and in a proof of work system why waste any more energy?)? Do they see a transaction amount between two verified accounts wanting to trade and just saying OK? Or are they verifying the correct solution? If the later, how are the transaction amount and the seller/recipient addresses checked to be correct? [link] [comments]
