We need YOU to take the Electron Cash Desktop UI Survey (Win 0.25 BCH!)

    Posted: 04 Jan 2022 07:00 AM PST

Hello! We're redesigning the Electron Cash desktop user interface.

If you use the Electron Cash desktop wallet, we'd like to know more about how you use it. We've assembled this relatively short survey (10-15 minutes) to find out what features you've used before, and which you haven't.

To say thank you, the first 20 people to complete the survey will receive $5 worth of Bitcoin Cash each, and everyone who completes the survey will be entered to win 0.25 BCH. The survey will be accepting responses from today (Tuesday, January 4th) through next Tuesday (the 11th).

    Some quick notes:

-All of the screenshots are taken on OSX (Apple Macintosh computers), but your user interface should be almost identical.

-We recommend opening Electron Cash while taking the survey in case you don't recognize any of the features we're asking about.

-Many of the questions just ask you to check which features you've used before. If you've ever used it, please check it!

-Some other questions ask about frequency. It's up to you to decide how often "Often" is, but try to think of it in relation to how often you open the program.

Thanks for your help and support!

Can a Smart Contact function similar to an international banking Letter of Credit for CAPEX industrial purchases?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2022 09:20 PM PST

I have years of experience using international banking Letters of Credit (LC) specified in sales contracts for high value industrial equipment purchases. With a LC, the buyer and manufacturer agree on performance and payment terms, the buyer then deposits funds to the bank who issues the letter of credit. Then the bank releases funds to seller only after receipt of documented milestones such as 10% on drawings, 70% on certified shipping documents, 10% on installation certificate signed by end user, and 10% on acceptance certificate signed by end user. The LC is always in a single currency (USD, INR, RMB, etc), but the issuing bank or associated advising banks typically provide subsequent exchange to local currency.

Not sure if this is an appropriate use for Smart Contracts (via smartBCH?), I am just learning and need advice. Would be great to cut out the banks, cut out the red tape, and eliminate all the banking fees!

    Is This Normal In CashFusion?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2022 05:41 PM PST

I just bought my first bch, I have the electron cash wallet, and I have enabled CashFusion to run in the background, the transaction that sent me the coins already has 16 confirmations, but in the coins tab it says that the coin is unfused, it's been like this for a long time, and when I open the fusions options it says 50% but it's not moving for a long time, and I keep getting stopped due to inactivity

is this normal? or is there something I should do?
