- Solved my heat issue on the 3090, before I couldn't even touch the backplate and now I can hold my hand to it.

| Posted: 21 Dec 2021 04:00 AM PST I got this crypto miner called cgminer I wrote a script for it and I ran it and the black screen poped up and I know it means it's mining but 3 seconds later it dissapeared which I know it's not saposed to happen is there a way I can fix it ? I have 2 rigs, 3080 and 1070TI rig with 6 cards each. one in my "gamingroom" and one in my livingroom. Because of that I rarely have to heat my house! My bathroom has a electric heater so it only really leaves my bedroom. But I like to sleep in a relative cold enviroment with think blankets. What about you guys? [link] [comments] | ||
| How many GPU’s are you running per power supply? Posted: 19 Dec 2021 06:00 PM PST So I've just competed my first build consisting of 6 RTX 3070ti's. First of all I managed to fry a PCIE riser that fits into the MOBO somehow which scares the f out of me now thinking I'll set the whole rig on fire. So that's issue #1. My second concern is I bought a 1600w EVGA PSU to power the rig and it somehow only manages to run 4 cards at a time. If I connect 5 or 6 cards (not anymore due to fried one slot) it will power on for a second then instantly turn off which I think is the PSU telling me it's at the limit. What's the go here, I thought 1600w would of been fine to handle this load. What do you think? [link] [comments] | ||
