Should we ban telegram links on /r/litecoin?

    Posted: 28 Nov 2021 09:47 PM PST

awe-full lot of spam getting past the Reddit spam filter (if such thing exists.)

Is everyone ok with telegram links being banned from the subreddit as I think 99 percent of the spam are pointing to the malicious telegram groups.

edit: done! they are now banned.

Don't use Blockcard's litecoin card. They are acting like scam mers.

I've had 2 litecoins in my blockcard account for about 5 months, and I spend from time to time, but obviously not enough to avoid the fee.

I decided to withdraw money to Blockfi a few weeks ago when price was higher. Normally there's a 24 hour hold withdrawals, but for some reason it didn't go through after 24 hours, and I lost my gains.

I looked at my balance, and the transaction said pending, but my litecoin was gone. When I spoke with them, they cancelled the transaction and gave me back the litecoin, but said they don't know why it happened.

So I tried again the next day, and the same thing happened. 48 hours of not being able to withdraw my funds on blockchain. Unacceptable.

So two days ago, I decide "f it", I'm just gonna withdraw my money via cash back at the grocery store, deposit fiat into the bank, and then deposit to blockfi.... I started with a little under two litecoin at $198. Withdrew $111...

The next day I wake up to a - 7 litecoin balance.

Talking with support they said it's a glitch that made the price of litecoin $18 when I withdrew, which put me in the negative. So now, not only can't I withdraw, but my money is gone atm. They claim they're working on the glitch but it's been 2 days already.

Obviously this is a small amount of money, but if a company takes 4 days and still won't let you withdraw, and you can wake up in the morning to a completely wiped out balance, beware.

I'd say take your money out as soon as possible. When my balance is restored, I'm out. Be careful, and don't use them at all if you're considering it. The card looks cool though.
