The overall picture of crypyo and where Litecoin fits in. Posted: 28 Oct 2021 10:57 AM PDT So I'm sitting here reading through both Reddit and Twitter about Litecoin and I can't seem to come wrap my head around where it actually stands in the grand scheme of crypto and adds value where other new, eco friendly, cheap to use, interoperable, and faster coins can do what Litecoin does, plus more. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of Litecoins perceived value stems from its age and stability over that length of time - ten years. If a coin like Litecoin came out in 2021, I don't think anyone would be hyped for it unless it had the power of memes/dogs. The biggest question I ask myself is: if there is true crypto adoption, will Litecoin survive? Will the old school cryptos fade away just like many of the websites and companies during internet adoption. Will proof of work be deemed unethical to use in a world of increasing environmental awareness. Can there ever be a 1:1 Litecoin swap to a more eco friendly adoption? Let me know, where do you see Litecoin in 5 to 10 years, assuming crypto adoption continues increasing. I understand to all love the coin or you wouldn't be here, but do you have any legitimate concerns for the future? [link] [comments] | ||
