Posted: 16 Oct 2021 05:19 AM PDT So I'm trying to set up a node and I followed the Unix Build Notes from Litecoin's GitHub. I got all the dependencies installed, then when I came to "build executables for ARM" I just copied and pasted the code under that section. Litecoind started building itself, so that was good... but I noticed that it took a lot longer than all the previous steps of installing the dependencies. While I was waiting, I read the Readme below that section and I think I mistakenly built the 32 bit version of Litecoind... but I'm running a 64 bit system (64 bit Raspberry Pi OS beta on a RaspberryPi 4 with 8GB of RAM). One line from the code that I copy/pasted into terminal was: "make HOST=arm-linux-gnueabihf NO_QT=1" Inside the readme there was another variant for this command: "aarch64-linux-gnu" and it was for Linux ARM 64 bit. Everything is running fine and I'm downloading the blockchain right now, but I kinda wanna run the 64 bit version if I can... So if I did install the 32 bit version, do I need to go through the whole process from the beginning? Can I just delete the litecoin folder that everything was installed to and repeat the "make" command with the correct aarch64-linux-gnu parameter? Or do I need to reinstall the OS, reinstall all the dependencies, and start completely from scratch? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Oct 2021 12:19 PM PDT Do you trust news for crypto like you do for stock? I almost always win money betting against news shared about stock by acting in the complete opposite way. Sure, some outlets plays both sides but one side is always pushed much more. It's a pump and dump bear trap through blatant and unabashed corruption and manipulation. How much do you trust those that do everything to try and convince you of their truth? Rather, when it comes to crypto and litecoin specifically, do you trust those voices on a pedestal or do you listen to your own DD? Let's not forget that billionaires trippled their wealth during a period we all suffered except for them. This is one of the ways they gaslight you into believing they've got your best interest in mind and are actual human beings like you and I. [link] [comments]
Sent LTC using USDT address. Coins stuck on Litecoin blockchain forever? Posted: 16 Oct 2021 09:07 AM PDT I sent some LTC from Binance, accidentally using a saved Tether address for the HitBTC exchange. The LTC are now visible on the LTC blockchain in a (random?) new address? As it's never gotten anywhere near HitBTC, I think I'm unlikely to recelve any assistance from them. Do you think Binance will be able to help me, or is it a write-off? Thanks. [link] [comments]
Can’t transfer from BitMart to TrustWallet Posted: 15 Oct 2021 07:41 PM PDT I can't seem to transfer my Litecoin from BitMart to TrustWallet. I have more than enough to satisfy the minimum and fee. After verifying codes, I get a notice to enter a valid address which I have tried multiple times, ensuring my TW address is correct. Should I try transferring to the BEP20 / Binance Peg version of Litecoin? Not sure what that's all about. [link] [comments]
Incomplete Transaction due to Multiple Outputs? Posted: 15 Oct 2021 01:13 PM PDT Hi all I sent Litecoin from Coinbase to Nexo and the transaction was split to two outputs with only one of the outputs arriving at the right address.. Does anyone know why this happened and if there is a way to recover the remaining amount? Here is the transaction id (also posted as comment below): 0a64e613f7ebb5c4cfaf005457c6e1acc9aa15f189c93df064260342d6aead25 [link] [comments] |
