Posted: 05 Oct 2021 05:52 PM PDT As the title says, today I finally "paid off" my rig completely including all sunk power cost. Been mining ETH for 9 months exactly. Kicking myself for not starting doing this sooner, but super stoked to be doing it now. Not sure what my plan will be next year once ETH moves to POS, but that's a problem for tomorrow me to worry about, tonight I am just happy to have recouped my entire investment! Could anyone help me with hiveos double mining? Posted: 06 Oct 2021 08:06 AM PDT Im trying to split my 8gb cards and 4gb card ive been running on ergo for the last 5 months. I still want my 6 4gb cards to mine ergo while my 5 8gb cards mine ethereum. Does anyone know how to this simply without any chaos. [link] [comments]
Total begginer here, need some help building my first rig Posted: 06 Oct 2021 08:00 AM PDT Hi, I have 6x gigabyte rtx 3060 ti 8gb LHR gpus which I want to put to work. Can you guys help me with picking the most suitable psus (each gpu requires I think 200-250 watts), motherboard that could fit them all, cpu and some pci risers i guess. I was looking at asus b250 mining expert, but they are all sold out in my country. Much appreciated! [link] [comments]

LHR - Possible to mine with 2 workloads? Posted: 06 Oct 2021 06:49 AM PDT Since the LHR cards limit ETH mining by down to 50-60% capacity, would it be possible to just mine with 2 workloads at once, each going to 2 separate pools? Has anyone already tried this? Or, would the 2 workloads be limited then, let's say cut in half, so each would be 25-30%. Or, another option would be to mine something like Octopus + Daggerhashimoto to get the full benefit of the GPU. [link] [comments]
How many of you play the GPU Lottery and Solo Mine with some of your Cards? Posted: 06 Oct 2021 06:39 AM PDT I'm a software developer with a strong grasp of odds and profitability and yet I can't seem to get over the idea of allocating some of my hashpower for solo mining. It's not logical - the odds would be astronomical, but I'm thinking the excitement may be worth it. My thinking is this - the "smart" lottery player is one who buys ONE and only ONE lottery ticket. The cost is inconsequential, you get the opportunity to win if that's your "destiny" and you get positive emotions out of it. Do you guys do it? I'm thinking of allocating my weakest processing card and have it run just for fun. [link] [comments]

AMD R9 380x refuses to mine anything Posted: 06 Oct 2021 02:32 AM PDT Hey guys, i am at my wits end. I picked up a used Sapphire Nitro R6 380x 4GB for cheap from a friend. Since i wanted to mine with it i put it into a refurbished office pc and switched out the power supply. Everything running fine. GPU: R6 380x 4GB / Motherboard: DELL 08WKV3 / CPU: Intel Core i3-4150 / 2x4 GB Ram / Driver (Radeon Software): v. 21.4.1 / Windows 10 Now my problem: I tried mining ravencoin and ergo on multiple miners and nothing seems to work. Error messages: LolMiner 1.33:
NBminer 39.5:
TeamRedMiner 0.8.5:
And thats it. I really dont know whats wrong. Maybe some of you can help me out with this or give me a shove in the right direction. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Tried Stormgain, ended wasting my time. Posted: 05 Oct 2021 09:49 PM PDT Stormgain is indeed a scam. Every 10 usdt I mine, I put it in my wallet, and I've read that I can cash out to my personal bank or something after gaining 30-35 USDT, after spending some time (a month) using storm gain, all of the USDT I mined which is in my stormgain wallet just suddenly reset back to 0. That's it, all the time wasted is gone. tl;dr Stormgain reset my wallet to 0 USDT. [link] [comments]

Posted: 05 Oct 2021 11:17 PM PDT Has anyone developed an app that automatically tunes power, memory clock and core clock values for mining on GPUs? I find this process very time consuming. It seems like a perfect job to automate. [link] [comments]

Gminer Ethash efficiency 80-90% Posted: 05 Oct 2021 05:21 PM PDT Hey guys, over a 24 hour period my Gminer only produces 80-90% efficiency or pool hashrate is 3-5MH/s below my local hashrate . 100% accepted shares, no stale or rejected shares... Is this normal? anyone experience something similar or know why this happens? I'm using Awesome Miner + Gminer with Miningpoolhub on a 1660ti + 1660 S fyi [link] [comments]
