• Help! Thermal throttling on 3080 Gigabyte Eagle OC due to Hotspot Temperature. Memory junction is fine something else is heating up.
• What is the RPM of this 75mm GPU fan?
• To all who are using LHR cards. I highly recommend switching to Trex miner. By far the best results I've had yet, LHR unlock is automatic and I have far less crashes compared with NBminer.
• SSD temperature issues solved. On an open air case with 2 vertical GPUs mining, and a Kraken AIO, my M.2 was getting a bit too warm. This thing works well, just cheapy on amazon.
• Can core underclock + memory OC cause permanent performance damage to cards?
• how to daisy chain noctuna mining fans?
• Autofan: GPU temperature 511 is unreal, driver error. What would be causing this. Happens on one of my rx580s. After a shut down and an unplug and plug back in of everything all cards will mine fine after reboot but then I get the error again randomly. Could be within 5 minutes or 5 days.
• 86 mh/s on a non overclocked 2070s. Is this a bug or it’s legit ?

Can core underclock + memory OC cause permanent performance damage to cards? Posted: 10 Oct 2021 11:51 PM PDT i borrowed friends 3060 for gaming in this trying time when mining i use this setting: core:-300 mem: +1200 ~50MH/S but when I returned it, he told me to underclock + memory overclock will cause permanent "performance shrink" to the cards and demanded money because his other 3060 only set as: core: 0 mem: +914 ~50MH/s(his 3060) ~39MH/s(the borrowed 3060) only my borrowed 3060 reach 39HM/s under the above OC setting while his other 3060 are at ~50MH/s is this "OC performance shrink" a real thing or am I being tricked? submitted by /u/Ethan_blake [link] [comments]
