Help with 2x rx 570 8gb micron memory on hiveos Posted: 13 Oct 2021 08:46 AM PDT So ive modded the bios via polaris editor uploaded it to hiveos then flashed it, everything comes up as being successful but i see no change via mhs. I managed to mod 3x 580 8gb via polaris editor and uploading then to hiveos but they are all samsung memory so im taking a guess in thinking i need to use a different program for microns timing? If so any help would be appreciated! [link] [comments]

Is your rig hardwired to the Internet or on WiFi? Posted: 12 Oct 2021 08:35 PM PDT Newb here, who heard from someone that we should be hardwired so as to not get any rejected shares—what is your rig's connection setup? And if you're wireless, how fast is your connection? [link] [comments]

The little vega nano that could Posted: 12 Oct 2021 06:21 PM PDT EVGA had a sale on 240 aios, and I had a few zip ties laying around, so.... Cliff notes: about 20* drop in core/memory temps, and was able to turn it up to stability max (57mh) from 50mh not bad for a $64 investment [link] [comments]

LHR “Partial Unlock” and Power Swings Posted: 12 Oct 2021 09:24 AM PDT Anyone else notice the wild power swing while mining with LHR cards using the LHR Tune options? I have 3 x 3070 Ti FE that Gminer says average 140W @ 52.4MH/s each. That's beautiful, however watching the power meter at the wall for those 3 (+1 x 3070 FE) cards only (CPU and 4 x 3070 on a linked PSU) swings between 532W and 736W, with Gminer reporting the 3 cards averaging a total of 422W. Also of note, the VRAM temperatures swing with the wattage swing as well from 72C up to as high as 88C. For note I keep rigs cool (it's easy in the Arctic), and the core temps on the 3070 Ti stay at 52-55C. None of the 8 cards in the rig spin fan over 30% on auto. The 3070 stay at 44-55C with the 2 MSI Ventus 3X staying the coolest, and 0% fan at 44 and 46C. 1 is there a fix for the wild power swing? 2 is there a fix for the wild VRAM Temp swing? 3 what is the risk to the equipment? Rig info: i5-10400, MSI Z490-A PRO, 16GB 3600/18CL RAM, 2x 1 to 4 USB PCIE SPLITTER, 8x V009 UBIT USB/PCIE x16 RISERS, 3x 3070 FE,2x 3070 MSI Ventus 3X non lhr, and 3x 3070 TI FE, 2x 120v@900W HP Platinum PSU with breakout boards.
