People who bought BTC on their ATH, they are only 6% down. Posted: 15 Oct 2021 12:51 AM PDT Investors who unfortunately bought Bitcoin in April, when it was worth around $63k, have gone from about 53% in losses to 6%, which is a relatively low number. With this I want to emphasize the importance of hodling, and of investing in a project in which you trust, since this factor will play a very important psychological role in not making a panic sold, since currencies with a good foundation usually recover from a crash, as in the case of BTC, ETH or ADA. It is not at all the first time this has happened, and with Bitcoin, it has managed to resurface from absolutely all its crashes. Make way for the Bitcoin king, we'll see new ATHs this Q4, I'm totally sure. [link] [comments]

Crypto values surge after SEC announcement. But please be cautious of the FOMO. Posted: 14 Oct 2021 08:53 PM PDT Rumours are circulating the SEC is about to announce that it will not oppose Futures ETF. This is an amazing piece of news. A few years ago, the idea of this concept would have been laughable. The SEC used to be 100% against and suspicious of anything crypto, but if todays announcements proves true, we just took another step closer towards mainstream adoption. Prices jumped massively in the last hour following this leaked announcement. Many crypto are closing in on their all time highest values. While this is fantastic for crypto, please try to avoid the temptation to FOMO in. Stick to your regular DCA payments and relax. [link] [comments]
For the last time - a DUMP is not the same as a RUG PULL Posted: 15 Oct 2021 01:37 AM PDT Not sure what's so difficult to understand. Dump means the price is falling. Usually rapidly. Rug pull means the devs/team had access to liquidity pools and they've drained it, meaning you cannot sell at all, bcs there is no "pool" or money from which your order will be fulfilled. It happens on DeFi. I believe I don't need to go into explaining why SHIB is a shitcoin. But to say it's being rugged is flawed. The liquidity is still there. There's buy and sell orders left and right. Volume is $3B. You will be able to sell. If you bought in the last 7 days, there's 50% chance you're still in profit. But please, for the love of Satoshi, zoom the f out. It's price is still above where it was 7 days ago. 1 month chart looks pretty amazing, even for the most volatile of crypto. Is this a dump? Who the f knows?? It most likely is. It could also be a normal correction from the wild pump it had the previous month. We don't know. Sensationalist articles and posts here how it's getting sold left and right are not looking at the number. 16% fall today is a lot. That said, we didn't blink an eye in any other situation where a top 100 coin fell 16% in a day. Or are you forgetting this is crypto? EDIT: the serial downvoting happening in comments is atrocious. Posted: 15 Oct 2021 02:58 AM PDT Is there a predictable way of predicting these rises? I'm sick of waking up every morning and thinking FS.like that's a ridiculous rise and it's always the random coins. I know the crypto market is volatile and far from predictable, but if anyone has any insights they use to try and predict these massive daily rises please feel free to share. 900% is just ridiculous and would have been life changing even with a couple of thousand invested. I don't know ruins my morning seeing it, going to be kicking myself all morning even though it's something I could have never known. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Oct 2021 07:47 AM PDT Modesty is a virtue. Greed is not. I'm not a greedy guy and when I entered the crypto world I never thought about how to make a million dollars with $1,000 of investment or anything like that. Unfortunately I was working some jobs where I was humiliated, oppressed and worked for a small salary. I had no choice, I couldn't find a new job and I endured it all because I had to pay the bills and I had to eat. Every day of that job was a mental terror for me. The boss was a jerk, the colleagues were bad people. The company itself is bad. After a year when I found a new job I quit right away without thinking and I can tell you that I now work in a great company with a solid salary for the standard of living in the country where I live. So nothing special, but at least I don't have to cope with "mental terror" anymore and the team I work with is full with amazing people. I want to insure/secure myself, my family and my PRIDE with cryptocurrencies. I never want to be in a situation where I have to endure all kinds of situations again because I have no choice and I hope that crypto will help me in that. We never know what life will bring us tomorrow, but one should always have a backup plan. My backup plan is crypto and that is my hope for a better future. If I can make a lot of money, great. If I fail, I have invested as much as I can lose and I will not fail financially. This is my backup plan, never again I will be hummiliated and take all kind of sh*t from bad people who are not at my level. F**k them. [link] [comments]
Here’s a list of all the crypto hedge funds are buying besides BTC and ETH Posted: 15 Oct 2021 02:49 AM PDT These are the most commonly held liquid assets across crypto venture and hedge fund portfolios and how many are holding them, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum:
The key to doing well for many crypto investors could just be letting these guys do project research and just copying these fund portfolios? How many of these are in your portfolio already? 👇 Source: Messari [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Oct 2021 02:44 PM PDT Over the past few months I've noticed a trend on this sub where lots of people seem to think that centralized blockchains are fine. I saw this with SOL, and now with BNB. The reality is that centralized crypto is horrible and it defeats the entire reason why crypto is so great. Centralized crypto is somewhere between decentralized crypto and the traditional system, but it is the worst of both worlds. Centralized crypto is not immutable (transactions can be reversed, look at ETC), it's not trustless and it's not censorship resistant which are the most important benefits of a decentralized blockchain. A centralized blockchain defeats the entire benefit of blockchain itself, which is decentralization. There is no point in using a centralized blockchain, a SQL server would work a lot better. I fully expect to be downvoted and have people in the comments attacking me for this, but the reality is that centralization is horrible and should never be justified. How can I earn some extra crypto daily? Like $5? Posted: 14 Oct 2021 06:54 PM PDT I live in Mexico and 5 dollars a day is about 100 pesos, or rent money for a 2 bedroom house a month so it's definitely a big deal. However, being in Mexico I cannot do most of the options available to those in America/Canada. What I do have available like Brave browser only earns about 1 BAT per month since the region has less advertisers. I hear about playing crypto games early on being a potential moonshot. Maybe something like that, just looking for suggestions? Cause $5 a day would be amazing! [link] [comments]
Without people FOMOing, we can never reach new ATHs! Posted: 15 Oct 2021 12:50 AM PDT At first I want to honestly thank everyone who FOMOed and leads us to new ATHs (soon). Without those investors, crypto would never be what it has become now. Everytime the prices surge I see always the same posts to call people to stop FOMO. 2 weeks ago when the number #1 coin hit back to $50k, also people called out to stop FOMO. This is just unhonesty in its purest form! Some people praise DYOR, they say that they know shit about f-ck, they say they do no financial advise, but they say do not FOMO??! If I havent DCA when it reached back $52k, I would have lost on some juicy gains. tl;dr Listen to yourself, people always call out for buys or stop FOMOs [link] [comments]
Tomorrow is pay day, looking for new coin to invest Posted: 14 Oct 2021 05:50 PM PDT Sell me on a new coin/token that is a promising project, technology or solution. Why is it something you believe in? Preferably a project that has transparent and active developers. Community awareness isn't as important right now as this is something I'll keep for long term for the next few years. I thought about just scrolling down the list and picking one with my eyes closed but that's just irrational ha! I'm looking for something outside the top 100 or 150 (by Market cap) As always, may the odds be ever in your favor ! [link] [comments]

When you start seeing random pumps of 600-800% on random coins.. It is time. Posted: 15 Oct 2021 04:22 AM PDT I'm seeing more green dildos than I have seen for sometime. And not just ordinary green dildos but the gigantic eye sore variety. They are steeper, greener and occurring more frequently. Not 20-30% increases but Increases of hundreds to thousands of % in hours. As we know bitcoin and crypto is by design built by a 4 year cycle (halving). Without fail, this cycle holds true and rewards those who play to them. Back in October 15th 2017 when Bitcoin was $4,930 similar events were occurring. And by December Bitcoin had hit new all time highs settling eventually at $16,300 in December. These green events are so in step with previous bull run cycles. The spasms in random alt coins are a sign big money is suiting up. I hope your bags are packed. And I hope your bag is filled with many green toys. If DeFi wasn't that serious, why would banks and entire governments be fighting it? Posted: 15 Oct 2021 02:21 AM PDT To anyone doubting DeFi and it's capabilities, you should consider that governments wouldn't waste time, energy and resources trying to fight it. But as we recently saw with China banning crypto mining and the SEC fighting DeFi, it's a too concern for most governments right now. Governments see that people will inevitably make the move to DeFi. Why would anyone settle with a maximum of 2% APY at a bank after they find out about platforms like UniSwap that offer MUCH higher APYs or platforms like Ramp that offer zero interest on lending. Banks simply can't compete with that and when banks lose power, this translates to the government losing power. DeFi will take over eventually, just watch. Stop posting how much crypto you own Posted: 14 Oct 2021 03:25 PM PDT I know the thrill when you make some big gains after holding something forever and that itch to proudly share it with the world, but just don't. Especially if you are new to reddit, or you jumped to crypto only recently. Just because somebody isn't positing their crypto holdings, doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about. You don't need to prove anything to anyone here, be wise and keep if for yourself. You never know who the person you're speaking to is and what stake they have or the knowledge and experience they may hold. They might as well be the scammer or hacker, and sharing any information could cost you loosing your investment, which is more often than not MORE than you could afford to lose even dough you see people advising against it every day on this sub. So with that said, if you're new here, let's try to stay true to what this sub was made for - to discuss crypto currency. If you need visual confirmation of people's holdings and want to talk shit, wallstreetbets is only a click away. This isn't the place though Edit: i forgot to mention maybe the most crucial reason not to share it. YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY. Few days ago someone posted a story how some guy got kidnapped and left to die in the forest after abductors made him unlock his binance and transfer all his holdings to them. You never know who is reading and all it takes is just one wrong person to identify you. Stay smart and stay safe. [link] [comments]
Do you guys realize how HUGE is it that we're almost back at 60k again? Posted: 15 Oct 2021 04:08 AM PDT The ATH back in April was just 4k more, but this trend up has been a lot more healthy than the last time, the fear & greed index is all green and there's not much FUD going around. And the best part is that the Bull will only become stronger when we breach the ATH, that's gonna generate a lot of hype and FOMO again that it might even get us close to 100k, and don't get me started on what would happen if we managed to break the 100k barrier 🤯 Sorry guys, I'm just like reaaaally hyped right now and had to vent, this are just my thoughts not financial advice. Mine ETH, get paid in NANO, avoid fees. How explained! Posted: 15 Oct 2021 02:11 AM PDT Basically 2Miners let's you mine ETH and get paid out in NANO. This way you are avoiding the PoW system and the fees completely, NANO is part of the POS System and has 0 fees. Here's a link where you can read more: https://2miners.com/blog/how-to-get-payouts-for-ethereum-mining-without-fees/ Sorry for my English, it's not my first language. (God, can somebody please change this character minimum stuff? It's so annoying, I hope I have it now…so anyway, how y'all doing?
