Forget profits. The fact that crypto is fully transparent with your funds should alone make you move from banks.

    Posted: 07 Oct 2021 06:44 PM PDT

In fact banks couldn't be more of a polar opposite to crypto when it comes to transparency. On more than one occasion they've been caught in corruption cases where investors' funds weren't handled properly and responsibly most famous of which is the Barings Bank scandal.

While on the other hand, crypto can be very transparent. Some projects like Privateum even use blockchain technology in order to make investors' funds as transparent as possible. At any time, investors can know exactly where and their funds are being used. It's a no brainer for me honestly. Banks are simply old, clunky and too centralized compared to crypto.

title: NFT adoption on Polygon PoS is flourishing. I wanna talk about it today before it’s too late.

    Posted: 07 Oct 2021 10:47 AM PDT

The biggest NFT marketplace, OpenSea, came to Polygon and joined forces. MATIC was Opensea's favorite option because of its low transactions fees. OpenSea is able to pay for all gas costs allowing to grant users seamless purchasing and minting experience with faster and cheaper transactions, if not even free.

If we talk numbers, Opensea has grown at an incredible pace since its launching on Polygon. For instance, last month 122k users were added to the platform to become 272k in September, which is around 82% increase. Also, about 838,000 NFTs were sold on OpenSea on MATIC in the same month, and NFTs sold per trader reached a new high at 3.08.

Seriously, you can observe the growth accelerating more than double month over month. But what I noticed specifically is the change of user behavior. As more creators and artists are taking advantage of the low fees and launching projects on Polygon, users are purchasing more and more.

The eye-popping reality is that there is still so much room to grow. Currently, OpenSea on Polygon only processes 1.5% of the volumes of Ethereum.

In my opinion, we will all witness the continuous establishment of Polygon as the premier place for artists to succeed and build communities, as it still proves its dominance and power in the crypto ecosystem!

The main reason I won’t invest in meme coins is cause they’re a bad long term investment

    Posted: 07 Oct 2021 06:49 PM PDT

I'm not the type of investor that's in it for a quick buck. I'm here with a plan and a long term vision. Which is why I see meme coins as a useless investment.

They literally have nothing to offer. Not one use case. They're not even backed by anything. The only reason they're profitable right now is cause of community hype. Real projects are the ones with a use case like Monero or at least something like Aurum that's backed up by actual gold not empty hype. Either way, I think this meme coin thing wi be just a passing phase and will die after crypto becomes a bit more mainstream.

What's interesting today in the NFT markets

    Posted: 07 Oct 2021 08:39 PM PDT

Hey all, I have been sucked into the NFT world and I'm looking at multiple variations out there and pre-launched ones and nothing is giving me excitement.

No offense, I love different creative ideas, but I'm craving something unique and never seen before with added utilities and will be or already viral, trending, and easy to get into.

Please, someone, give me the sauce to make a wise investment. All thoughts are welcome and nothing is giving me excitement. I love different creative ideas, but I'm looking for something unique because lately all I'm seeing in NFTs are weird arts, not saying they're not cool, they are. but the market is congested with those.

    All insights are welcome.
