    Litecore-lib segwit

    Posted: 10 Sep 2021 04:18 AM PDT

Playing around with bitcore-lib & am checking out litecoin too. It seems there's legacy & segwit for litecoin, I've generated a legacy address but am wondering how to get the segwit address?

Can litecore-lib do this or should I somehow convert the legacy address on my own?

    Thanks in advance for reading

Is a LTC based Stablecoin possible?

    Posted: 09 Sep 2021 02:01 PM PDT

I was recently discussing the crypto market with my brother and stablecoins came up. We've both agreed that USDC is the most reliable and best stablecoin on the market, but with one caveat, price to send.

Since the network most people accept USDC on is the ETH Blockchain, the price to send even a small amount of USDC is ridiculous. Gas fees have been extremely high as of late, reaching upwards of 1500gwei ~$1000+. It's use case and reliability are far outweighed by fees. No one should have to spend $1000 to send $1 worth of USDC.

Meanwhile LTC is a very cheap coin to send, with a much higher TPS limit in comparison to ETH. A Stablecoin based on the Litecoin Blockchain may prove to be a better option in comparison to ETH.

Now here is the questions we both had-

    1. Is it possible to build a Stablecoin on the LTC Blockchain?

    2. Would you face more obstacles in comparison to building one on ETH?

    3. Would LTC itself need to be upgraded to allow for such a thing?

    4. Would it even be viable to do on LTC?

You can now withdraw and deposit using Hollaex! They have amazing fees and I would suggest using this exchange for mining!
