| Can Never get a second card connected Posted: 10 Sep 2021 03:58 AM PDT I can never get a second card connected. They both work on their own but I add both together and the second has an exlamation mark on device manager. I've tried reinstalling drivers from scratch, turning on 4g decoding, changing PCIe lane speeds, getting new risers, new motherboard and CPU, and now installing nicehash OS and it just doesn't start mining when I have two connected, only when there is one. The cards are a 1060 and 2060 and the motherboard is a B450-a. Any suggestions would be appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||
| EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid Posted: 10 Sep 2021 08:18 AM PDT Hi all, Bought this beauty a week ago. Have started mining but quickly discovered the astronomical vram temps of 106c average. I tried adding 3mm Thermalright 12.8w/K pads between backplate and PCB (were none from factory), and it barely made a difference. Went back inside and replaced the pads on top of the memory chips around die, replaced thermal paste, but only saw a marginal improvement yet again at about 102-104 average. Do you think replacing the other thermal pads on mofsets etc. Would make a difference at this point? Room ambient temp is about 23-25c. [link] [comments]  | ||
| 3060 V1 LHR getting reduced Mh after PC update Posted: 10 Sep 2021 07:56 AM PDT Hey everyone. I have a rig running the 470.05 driver. GPUs on this rig are a 3060, 2070 super, and 1660 super. My computer automatically updated last night and now my 3060 is only getting 38 Mh (down from 46). The system is still running the 470.05 driver and the two other cards are hashing at the same rate prior to the update. Any ideas? Thanks [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 10 Sep 2021 02:40 AM PDT Hi, I'm mining ERGO with a few 3060 LHR and a 3080 ti, using underclock on core an a low memory OC on the memory. I'm getting 1 rejected share out of 500 total shares, but every single rejected one is on the 3080ti and none on the 3060's, I'm worried if its something from the GPU or the settings. anyone having the same issue? any way to address it? cheers. | BetterHash not transfering BTC to Coinbase Posted: 10 Sep 2021 05:57 AM PDT I dont know if this is the right sub to ask this in, but I just assume that most of you have experience with betterhash So, I currently have 0,05 BTC on my BetterHash Account and I wanted to transfer them to Coinbase because of the zero fees. So I set up a Coinbase Account, verified it and activated the autowithdrawal for the same email adress, only for nothing to happen. | Biostar Motherboard not detecting M.2 Posted: 09 Sep 2021 09:25 PM PDT so after struggling, I have figured out how to properly get windows installed but the only thing stopping me is windows not letting me install windows onto my M.2 I have a Biostar BTC-PRO 2 and a samsung evo 970 M.2 but for whatever FUN reason, it's just not showing up as a drive I can use to install windows. I would install the samsung driver but I can't access a desktop and it doesn't allow me to load it via SSD. Please save me from going insane, what am I missing? [link] [comments]  | ||

| HELP! RTX 3080TI LHR NBMiner Partial-bypass Not Working. Posted: 10 Sep 2021 12:32 AM PDT I can't seem to get the partial LHR bypass to work on my RTX 3080TI. I've tried multiple driver versions, adjusting power and mem clocks, and manually updating NB miner to 39.2. NB miner always starts at -LHR 69 even if I put 68, 65, or whatever. I'm ~30MH with NBminer at 63% power, -500 core, +1000 mem (excavator gives me 60MH). And at 100% power, 0 core, +1000 mem, I'm only getting 60MH. Anyone have any ideas? [link] [comments]  | ||

I want to be sure these are old stock FE FHR cards but how to be sure? if I can tell date of manufacture I can know if these are new or got stuck in a shipping container for 9 months. | Tent temperature and setup questions - 630 CFM? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 10:10 AM PDT Good morning all. I'm considering a tent setup and would very much appreciate your input. I have a 8 rig setup in a spare bedroom and while the core temps are 50-60, memory is in the low 90s with 80 ambient room temp. At these temps, I have a 2 windows open for cross ventilation and the door open. 3 fans, 2 on the cards and 1 pulling air out of that room. if I close that door, it spikes. While I know summer is coming to an end, I'd prefer not to have the other windows open throughout the house and mitigate the noise. I was considering a tent for my small rig so I can simply close the door to the spare bedroom and let it be. It's only 1800 watts (maybe I'll add a few more cards) and the average intake temperature will likely be 70 in the day and 50-60 at night. Do you all see any reason why I couldn't hit similar temps with the tent setup based on those temps? I saw a calculation posted elsewhere and I came up with: 2.0 kW * 3,401 / 1.08 / (80°F-70°F) =~ 630 CFM That seems like a massive amount of airflow to keep it at or under 80 during the day. Is this a lost cause potentially? I think a second option would be to do the tent but reduce mem OC to get those temps way down. Thoughts or suggestions? Thank you. [link] [comments]  |
