What do you do with mined coins? How do you use it to make even more money? Also do you mind sharing any withdrawal strategies?

(noob Q) regarding Autolykos algo. I know it's possible to mine Autolykos but before I go ahead and change my mining software I want to make sure I understand correctly. Since Autolykos has a much higher hash rate, it would be more profitable to mine Autolykos algo over Kapow for example?

    Recommended Riser Power Cables

    Posted: 01 Aug 2021 06:37 AM PDT

    Good morning!

I am new to mining and preparing to put my rig together. I have a Z490-P Mobo, 6 GPU risers, a rack, a Corsair 1000watt PSU, and 3 2060. I see I am not supposed to use the stock SATA cables that come with the risers, are their any recommend brands or types of cables I should be looking for? I checked the diagram on the wiki and saw Molex cables, but I don't know what brands are reliable. Thank you!

Rig became unstable after changing apartments

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 09:37 PM PDT

So I had to change residence so I disassembled the thing and put it all back together. I have 2 RTX3060 and 2 x16 risers, and one GTX 1650 super with a usb riser. I use the MSI x470 mobo.

The hashlimiter in the 3060 is bypassed. However, they're acting up after reassembling the rig. Their hashrate would drop randomly at different times in different levels. They usually mine at 48mh/s, but now either can drop to 26-38-41-47 and there's nothing working in the background whatsoever. They also crash often.

I really don't get it, what could be the problem? :( Any help would be appreciated.

Do latest stock 3080 have LHR ? Like Zotac, Inno3d ones

Higher hashrate, but more invalid shares

    Posted: 01 Aug 2021 07:00 AM PDT

But, do the invalid shares matter when your hashrate is good ?

How to stop unexpected crashes while mining on Phoenix miner?

How do you deal with high electricity costs?

    Posted: 01 Aug 2021 06:49 AM PDT

The price for electricity is ~0,30€/kWh here in Germany, countries nearby such as Austria etc. have similar prices.

Currently I just mine with my gaming GPU whenever I am not using my PC, but I'd love to build my first rig.

The only thing that holds me back is the price for electricity, because getting the ROI for an 3060/3060 Ti will take extremely long.

What are your thoughts on this topic, is it worth to start mining now, in a country with high costs like Germany etc? Especially with rather small rigs, starting off with 1-2 GPUs?

Latest FE gpus from best buy. LHR?

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 10:41 PM PDT

Hey, I know the 3070ti and 3080ti are all LHR, but regarding the new batch of FE (Nvidia reference) 3060ti, 3070, and 3080 gpus from Best Buy, are they LHR or not? I've heard mixed reports, but I'm assuming all new gpus are LHR. Wondering if there was a buttom line on new FE's and LHR.

    3080 Ti Mining Settings

    Posted: 01 Aug 2021 12:26 AM PDT

Does anyone have any recommendations for settings on a 3080 Ti. I've tried some peoples' settings from the 3080 with negative results. Any settings would be appreciated.

What is the best wallet to mine too

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 05:21 PM PDT

Just started mining today and added my coinbase wallet to have me coins deposited too. I wasn't sure what others do. And also when do the deposits usually happen. I am running about 20mh/s right now. Am going to add 2 more cards after I get everything dialed in

    3060 Ti (8 GB) vs 3060 (12 GB)

    Posted: 01 Aug 2021 02:49 AM PDT

    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for mining proficiency and it seems the 3060 Ti is one of the best ones, providing 60 mh/s, but there's a 3060 with 12GB, and I thought that ethash algo was all about memory, so I wonder which one would be better in terms of pure hashing.

    Thanks in advance.

How to achieve 42+ MH/s on a AMD Vega 56?

    Posted: 01 Aug 2021 12:03 AM PDT

According to NiceHash and a few other sources the Vega 56 is supposed to get 42-45 MH/s. I just set my overclocks to 950/900 core/men and voltage to 900mv but am only getting 30.5MH. Any reason why?

One of my miners keeps losing Internet connection

    Posted: 31 Jul 2021 03:24 PM PDT

I bought this network adapter on the recommendation of someone here and it works great on all my rigs except for one. For some reason my internet keeps losing connection and I have to keep fiddling with it to get it to connect again. I tried swapping out adapters with one of my other rigs but it does the same thing. Is there any way to boost the signal or is there another adapter that is plug and play with hiveos that might be a bit more powerful? Maybe one that gets 5g (this one only gets 2.4).
