Posted: 16 Aug 2021 08:34 PM PDT Just trying to get the word out, I hate seeing that this is continuing to happen to people. Since London Hard Fork Kucoin has not been able to process transactions sent using Smart Contracts. FOR THE TIME BEING IF YOU SEND ETHEREUM FROM BLOCKFI, NEXO, OR ANY SERVICE THAT USES SMART CONTRACTS TO KUCOIN YOUR CRYPTO WILL BECOME INACCESSABLE. Myself and way to many other people have been burned by this and imo Kucoin is not doing enough to proactively notify users and just letting it happen over and over again. To my knowledge Kucoin support has not responded to anyone experiencing this issue. For almost two weeks their reddit mod has been saying "we're developing a service to help recover some of these cryptocurrencies, which should roll out relatively soon" See more info at https://www.reddit.com/r/kucoin/comments/p3d00r/psa_do_not_deposit_eth_into_kucoin_unless_you_are/ [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Aug 2021 06:04 PM PDT I am a new investor looking to invest in Etherum, I see the rate has been steadily dropping and am wondering if I should wait a bit longer to buy before it rises again. Should I wait or start now? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, cheers. [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Aug 2021 05:51 PM PDT Sorry if a dumb question- tried researching and can't find great answers. How do dapps add to the value of ethereum. Does dapp usage itself burn ether therefore reducing supply? Or is it just that people need ether to interact with dapps and therefore demand for ether is higher? Is there a way to gauge the net monetary benefit? I.e. how much ether has been burned through dapp interaction. [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Aug 2021 02:39 AM PDT Hi all, just wondering where the best place is to stake ethereum. My only previous experience of staking has been using deadalus and yoroi for staking ADA, and I know these are ADA specific. Does ethereum have a specific network for staking, or are there any good, safe alternatives? Appreciate any help!! [link] [comments]
Alt coins being paired to stable coins rather than BTC on CEXs Posted: 17 Aug 2021 01:43 PM PDT Last few alt coins that I bought (YLDY, FLOW...) from exchanges did not have a BTC pair, only USD pegged stable coin pair. Also lots of people use DEXes now and coins are usually paired to the native currency of the DEX (UNI, CAKE, SUSHI...) The narrative goes that Bitcoin is the big daddy, the market mover and the first step for all new comers to the crypto world. Hence why it has value and dictates the market's direction. If most alt coins on exchanges are bought with USDT or USDC or some other stable coin, and most exchanges decide to pair cryptocurrencies to stable coins (makes sense in my opinion). Doesn't that mean that we will have independently moving cryptocurrencies like what we have in the stock market? not a clown show that goes up or down on the whim of a celebrity tweeting about Bitcoin. And if that's the case why aren't exchanges already doing this? [link] [comments]
Audius' interaction with the Ethereum Blockchain Posted: 17 Aug 2021 05:13 PM PDT How does an app like Audius interact with the Ethereum blockchain? More specifically, because it's an ERC-20 token does it factor into the Ethereum token burn equation? [link] [comments]
"New to the crypto world" question Posted: 17 Aug 2021 08:00 PM PDT Hi! Don't PM me. I would like to know if is it worth to make the Eth 2.0 stake on Binance? If no, why? It says I can't move my BETHs (ETH2), but it appears on my Spot wallet. Is it really locked? What better options would you recommend? I have less than 1 ETH btw... (: [link] [comments]
