    Greetings and hello. I've only recently started mining. My fiancé and I like to game and finally went in on a couple high end PC's.

    I've leaned to manage my thermals and have the basics figured out on OC. We both have an ASUS ROG STRIX 3090 and a Ryzen 9 5950x CPU.

    Currently I'm using CudoMiner to mine with and I've made a little profit. But I recently learned that Cudo takes 6.5% across all its fees! I used it because I'm not super tech savvy but I'm enjoying learning at this point.

    I'm looking for mining software suggestions.

    I'm willing to work a little to figure something out, especially if I'm gonna recoup 4% or so of my earnings.

    Ive got a spare 1060 3gb gpu lying around. What can I mine?

    I'm currently mining etherium but I have a spare 1060 3gb gpu lying around. I looked at using this but found that it doesn't have enough vram. What would you guys recommend I mine or am I just best of selling the gpu?

    Display issue

    Trying to set up my first rig. The unit is running and stays on but there is no display even though it is connected to my tv. The tv does not pick up the display signal so j can't see anything, I changed the Ram and stilll the issue persists, any other thing I can try?

    The monitor and hdmi cord I am using deff works I tried it with a laptop I have and it worked fine.

    Thermal pad sizes for aorus 3080 extreme?

    Hey guys. I just got my rtx 3080 aorus extreme a while ago and wish to change the thermal pads on it. I have found on reddit you need 3mm for the backplate and 2 mm for the front. But after paying over 30 quid on both... I barely have a 8.5 long x 4.5 cm wide thermalright oddysey pads. Ill have to refund them as what im seeing from the vids, i need much more pad real estate. The problem is that im in uk, and the only quality thermal pads im finding on amazon (besides third party no name no quality) is thermalright oddysey. I found 12x12 cm same pads for 35 quid each... So around70 total. But my question is.. would that be enough to cover all i need in the 3080? Or i need two sheets of each 2 and 3 mm pads with 12x12 cm sizes? Thats around 150 pounds! Isnt that crazy? Do i have no better options? Please chime in ty.

    Windows 10 download and setup for Eth mining rig (2x3060)?

    Was mining ERG on my 2 3060s mining rig, using HiveOS But considering switching back to Eth now. Trying to download Windows 10 and etch it on my existing Kingston SSD but a pop-up keeps telling me that "Partition Table Missing/Unavailable" and I don't know how to move ahead? Any help would be very appreciated! Where will I find the correct Windows image to etch on to the SSD?

    Motherboards with more than 1 true x16 slots?

    I want to load up multiple zombies on a board to make use of some 4g cards I have. It is my understanding this only works directly on the board in true x16 slots. Are there boards with multiple true x16 slots?

    470.05 Driver Issues - I have a 3060 its getting about ~23 M/Hs now with v466.27, but when I try to install the v470.05 driver I this this error, any suggestions? Iv combed the internet and made sure windows was updated, was there a patch with NVIDIA that just makes it no longer work?

    rtx 3080 not detected

    Alri so I'm using my PC for mining with a few gpus. I am using an evga supernova g2 750w psu which is inside my case + another evga supermova g5 750w psu with an adapter that jumps them together.

    I have a kfa2 rtx 3070

    1x gigabyte rtx 3080

    1x sapphire rx 580 8gb

    Mobo is asus z170 pro gaming

    I have updates bios to latest and set all pcie links to gen1 + enabled 4g decoding. Afaik this mobo can support 6 gpus with risers but i'm just using 3

    Windows is also updated to latest version

    3070 is plugged directly into mobo and power supplied via psu in pc case

    rx 580 + riser is powered via external psu

    rtx 3080 + riser is also powered via external psu

    Before I installed the rx 580 - my 3080 and 3070 were mining perfectly fine. It's only when I added in rx 580 that my 3080 stopped showing up.

    3080 lights up alright(indicating it has power) but just isn't showing up in device manager > display adapters

    I tried adjusting cables several times but no luck. rx 580 + rtx 3070 work fine and I have both nvidia and amd drivers installed.

    I would assume I don't have to install separate drivers for 3080 since I already have it nvidia drivers installed and my 3070 is working fine.

    Is there anything else I can try? I'm expecting another 3080 to come but this has me slightly worried.
