Remember the only truth about crypto: We don't know shit about fuck. It will set you free. Posted: 16 Jul 2021 04:51 PM PDT We simply don't. Once you accept that we all are diving into the unknown, in a completely unpredictable market where a moon or a crash might happen the very next second, you are able to make better choices. You set yourself free. No, you haven't figured it out, nor has some Youtuber. No, technical analysis can't predict prices and 95% of day traders get burnt. That's a fact. Now, when big money has entered the chat and can manipulate the market at their will. We, the retail investors are left at their mercy. Yes, it's reasonable to expect that BTC and solid alts will be worth more than today in the long and mid term, but even then, remember that dozens of solid projects have failed and never recovered. We are speculating on what might be and which projects will make it. Wether we are in a bull supercycle or a bear already, is irrelevant when you keep the big picture in your mind. You're like an astronaut, sailing to space with your portfolio as a ship, seeking for fortune. Anything might happen, your ship's hull might break and suffocate you to death in 5 seconds, or you might find your moon tomorrow. Remember this, it will set you free. It will allow you to withdraw from emotions and simply look at your portfolio with serenity, thus making better decisions. Stay humble y'all! Edit: I'm a believer in the tech, feel free to check my other posts. I just think people are sweating it too much right now, I think we would be at peace if we just let it be and accept that we can't do shit about it, we are floating adrift, and that's fine. Almost everyone around me thinks that crypto is a scam. Posted: 16 Jul 2021 03:26 PM PDT So I've been asking around about what people think about crypto. I've been asking friends, family and colleagues. To my surprise almost everyone thinks it's a scam. I've tried to explain what crypto does and eventually can do but most don't want to hear it. The only narrative they believe is that crypto is destroying the environment, that it's not actually a legit currency and it's just a scheme to steal your money. They haven't really researched crypto, they only received info through media. I never thought that the fud was this bad, pretty sad really. Have any of you experienced this when trying to talk about it? Genuinely curious. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Jul 2021 10:28 PM PDT The people in this community, 50% of the time have some sort of nsfw label to their account and so yknow, out of my primal human curiosity, I'll click on their profile and find some very, and I mean very odd things. It's definitely an interesting perk of this communities members. I'm not even complaining because I'll spend maybe an hour or 2 total a week looking at you alls profiles and the weird shit you all get into and it's all very intriguing. There seems to be a close parallel between being a horny weirdo and an educated crypto holder more than half the time. [link] [comments]
After hitting post nut clarity Today, i pulled all my money out of Stocks & invested it in Crypto. Posted: 16 Jul 2021 08:32 PM PDT So yes i did that. I have bought USDC coins as of now because i am still not sure how much to invest in each coin and which coins to choose. Any help will be welcome but i have planned to put my money as follows (so far) : 30% ETH - 30% BTC - 10% USDC (to buy crypto instantly during dips or to buy a new crypto token) - 7.5% ADA - 7.5% SOL - 5% XMR - 5% VET & 5% ALGO. Let me know what you think of this. I am investing them for atleast 7-10 years so i think these are good projects for long term. That's all, Thankyou for reading my post. Edit : Guys i am 19 and the money i invested was given to me by my grandmother, so yes i can take the risks but thank you for warning me about the risks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jul 2021 10:10 PM PDT What does everyone think? Are we in a long consolidation or are we slowly being bled out by institutions and whales? Seems the hype from retail has pretty much disappeared. People who used their stimulus to get into crypto are short funds to keep the momentum going. Not spreading FUD. I've seen the $100k Bitcoin predictions by EOY 2021 and I've seen Bitcoin going down to $8-9k predictions too. Genuinely curious what people's thoughts are. What starts this back up? What creates the FOMO hype again? [link] [comments]

Having to withdraw Crypto at a loss Posted: 16 Jul 2021 05:06 PM PDT So I'm broke, and the only money I have saved is my crypto portfolio, which is currently down 3x from what I have initially invested with Fiat... And I'm forced to withdraw some of it given my current circumstances. Heart-breaking to say the least. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:46 AM PDT I don't care if they're offering Cathy Wood's feet pics for your seed phrase, resist the temptation. Seriously though, there is nothing anyone in your DMs can do for you that isn't a scam. There's a reason why they're hiding in your DMs instead of just posting about it or replying to you in public - because they'll get railroaded by a thousand commenters calling them out. Posted: 17 Jul 2021 12:54 AM PDT As title says, seriously. But for those, those that are taking it easy, listen. You just bought a stack of sats, or any other crypto and you're happy with the results. I understand that you want to share that you're the part of the future now, part of something big that will mostly change your life. You're doing something for your future and you shouldn't be ashamed of the amounts that you've invested. However be aware! Internet is a sweet spot for scammers, hackers and they can use any bit of your information to get to you, to steal something from you. It applies for Reddit too! During the past month I've got over 20 messages from suspicious profiles here on Reddit only. We love to hear all the success stories, but please, be smart about it. Yeah I know, you would think, why should someone wanted to get my 10$ bag. Well, it's possible. 6 years ago. A firefighter was robbed and stabbed by two men who were after his Bitcoin. Worth of $1,100 back then. Not to mention the numbers of murders, burglaries and kidnappings. There were many of them, many which lead to deaths. I am not saying, that there is any connection with internet and the criminals that made some of these actions. But it's better to take precautions and not giving them any step closer to you. Be safe guys, we all want to help the cryptocurrency sphere and make a money alongside it, but please be careful ! There is not amount of money that is worth your life! Leave your ego behind the door, be smart, and don't disclosure your total investments even if you think you can't have target on your back. Have a wonderful Day ! Peace. [link] [comments]

How long do you think it will be before NFTs are going to be used for OnlyFans material? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 05:10 AM PDT Only fans works off of the idea that you're getting something more exclusive and more unique than what the commoner gets (I think, I've never used it...). So, a step above that is having a super unique image/ video/ ASMR sound that will be possessed by only very small amount of privileged "clients" or "art collectors" When will this trend start do you think? Or has it already? [link] [comments]

A wallet is not what you think it is Posted: 16 Jul 2021 02:44 PM PDT If you're new to the space, here is a quick 101 on wallets. Metamask, Electrum, MEW, Trust, Coinomi, Atomic or whatever other application you call a wallet is not really a wallet. They are wallet applications that allow you to access and manage your cryptocurrency, NFTs or whatever blockchain asset you have stored in your wallet. Your wallet is your private key or seed phrase. For example:
So next time you download a new wallet application, you don't have to create a new seed phrase, you can just import the one you already have to manage your existing funds in both applications. Just thought I'd share this since I work in crypto and I noticed that a lot of users don't know this. EDIT: I felt obliged to add that this is the reason you should never ever share your private keys with anyone. Your keys are your sole access to your assets on the blockchain so keep them secure. Happy Friday! [link] [comments]
What if Nintendo sold Pokemon as NFT? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:55 AM PDT Just imagine. Each Pokemon is one unique NFT. No further copies. And you buy the ownership to own this Pokemon. What do you think would happen when they would do that? How much worth would it be to be the owner of Pikachu? How much are people willing to invest to own the original 150? Nintendo should be able to collect a lot of money for the first auctions. And then they could link their new games to the blockchain. If you can authenticate as a real owner, you get exclusive in-game goodies. A Money printing machine that is. What do you guys think? Do you think people would try to buy and collect unique Pokemon as NFT? Let's place bets on a hypothetical price. [link] [comments]
I’m getting a bit tired of all the “Group X says that price will be Y by year Z” posts Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:25 PM PDT Maybe this is just going to sound like a grumpy old man moment… but: Didn't get into crypto because some expert, association, or group announced crypto will 10x within the year. I got into crypto because tech seemed interesting and had new approaches to traditional finance, so I decided to try things out and stayed. Who gives a flying squirrel's clenched butthole about some made up analysis, most likely written by the same folks who 1, 2, 5 years ago had declared the crypto was going fail or just some person publishing some BS TA to get viewership. I don't need validation or confirmation of my position. There's some really interesting posts on here, please stop burying them under the chicken bone divination articles. Edit - alright, seems I am just being grumpy, oh well. Let the price prediction posts flow! Also, kinda confused about the user with comment history exclusively in porn subs, stopping by to swear at me. Not sure if I should take that as a compliment. [link] [comments]
Where has all the technical analysis gone? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 01:50 AM PDT Most major crypto currencies tanked 50% two months ago and then have gone sideways ever since. We all know this. But has anyone noticed how few technical analysis posts they are seeing during this recent period? There was 'death cross' references a month ago, but we are still basically at that same price now. It ended up being a nothing-burger. It's almost like... the previous chart history in a liquid, dynamic, and ever-changing market (with pretty regular major news) doesn't actually mean much for the future price? I just find it interesting that most TA advocates use it to (usually) justify positive predictions. But all seems to go quiet during periods of boringness / reductions. Or maybe the negative TA posters don't get noticed as much and I've just missed it. [link] [comments]
Bitcoin will crash if the stock market crashes Posted: 17 Jul 2021 02:10 AM PDT This is a hard truth. Many people are hearing rumors of a stock market crash coming since this 12 year bull run on the stock market. And we need to realize if the dow downs, Bitcoin burns. People, and mostly institutions still see the USD as the most safe asset to own, so during a bear market, people will liquidate their crypto, property, stocks, anything, to hodl their cash. (A lot of the time so they can buy back in 10-20 months later...) in their mind 15% inflation is better than 60% losses. if this isn't the end of a bull market, and we continue going up. Look at the stock market. if this is the end of the bull market, well, get ready. honestly, even if we crash more I'll continue to DCA into my stocks and crypto. . this isn't to spread any fear or anything, it's just the fact that Bitcoin follows the stock market to a degree, but during a time of crisis no matter how good the technology is, it will lose value. Edit: to address the controversy. The USD is literally the store of value globally. I'm sorry. This is literally what I'm saying. When there's fear in the world over investments, even with inflation, people will still move to the USD. It's just a fact. [link] [comments]
10,000 ‘Shitcoins’ have deeply penetrated the cryptocurrency market and this is a massive problem. Posted: 17 Jul 2021 12:23 AM PDT Shitcoins are cryptocurrencies that have little or no value, utility or function.I do not ascribe to the Maximalists definition that anything other than Bitcoin is a shitcoin and would describe other projects with serious teams and valuable intent as Altcoins. The idea behind creating shitcoins is to create a coin that is very cheap and promises a lot of returns, whilst aggressively promoting that particular coin. Although there may be speculations about a shitcoin rising, it may not rise in years to come, or ever. In the end, a lot of people will buy the coin because of the large returns promised and its popularity. Then, due to lack of execution on early promises, and lack of vision for the project, the price of the token will normally tank until it is almost worthless, thus becoming a shitcoin. There are over 10,000 coins in the cryptocurrency market and this is a massive problem. For three main reasons.
Shitcoins are 'fun' and an expression of free markets, but we should all be really wary of the darker side and the negative consequences. [link] [comments]
What was The First Coin to Make you Excited about CryptoCurrency? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 07:37 PM PDT For me the first coin was Zcash I thought privacy would be a huge issue in the future. I bought 40 coins at an average of 453 over the course of the years. I can say it's been like living in Spain, but the s is silent. ZEC bring a real shitty fucking coin inspired me to look into better projects like Algo. Algo got me excited to use a coin that wasn't powered by number go down technology. This led me to DEFI I'm a door dashing bank owner it's pretty cool. How about all of you wonderful people? [link] [comments] |
