Posted: 01 Jul 2021 10:48 PM PDT I was watching a video by goldsilver.com on YouTube today and he was talking about silver prices and how he was using data to defend his argument that silver will be hitting triple digits. Back in the 1980s there was a similar situation. He said silver would hit 50$ everyone thought he was nuts but guess what it happened! How did he know ? I think he's more in touch with smaller investors. What he was trying to do was take 50$ and based off that vs other products like houses etc basically trying to calculate for inflation what silver could hit in some cases could even hit 4 digits! https://youtu.be/6xJ6RULg4bM Personally I don't this will happen again to silver it will never hit the same ratios 1980 vs now the reason is simple crypto. Much of that money will more than likely go into crypto. However near the end he made a good point about the 1980 50$ bullrun Why did it hit 50$ and so quickly he took into consideration of small investors! When they were finally ready to buy in they brought their money in looked at how much gold they could get for their money and saw how much silver they could get. Instead of taking gold they took silver bc they could get more bc of the cheaper price. This is exactly what is going to happen with Bitcoin and this bullrun! Will they look and see Bitcoin cash and just buy it bc they can get more for less I believe so! My only worry is people are going to be new and therefore not doing research they will go into even cheaper cryptos we even saw this with the first bullrun top. Look what happened to cryptos like DOGE ETC What do you think might be the biggest winner? Will it be a meme coin? Will it be a BTC fork? [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Jul 2021 07:53 AM PDT Someone told me the other day that Dick Heart (not his real last name) is creating an ethereum-type thing now. I wondered how he could possibly do that, when if hex were a serious effort, then it would to be a full-time job for years to come. This person told me that hex is now a self-running chain and Dick had finished the project, yay. Okay so someone else is going to do the adoption? Or there will be no adoption? (I mean I think it's a stumpump creation so that's a rhetorical question but, led me to think,) Maybe adoption is the most important metric of all. And to the extent that it is, bitcoin cash has very little meaningful competition whatsoever. [link] [comments]
