The most innovative pro sports & crypto project keeps rising & developing within Bitcoin Cash (BCH) universe - we BUIDL!

Oleksandra \"Sasha\" Oliynykova, the Bitcoin Cash Global Ambassador in Professional Tennis

Some waves made last weeks around professional athletes & teams involvement in cryptocurrencies & markets (from Tom Brady & Sam Bankman-Fried alliance to the Doge racing car accident). Many of them declare to be "pioneers in crypto" - though in fact their participation is a classical, legacy sponsorship/advertisement of targeted projects or exchanges, and those ads not even always paid in crypto!

At maximum, several heavily marketed & promoted "Fan Tokens", mainly in European football & MMA, allow fans to get some gifts & perks from their favorite team and participate in secondary, non-important decisions making... and that's it. In other words, fans can vote on the color of seats at the stadium, but never on the club transfer policy or coach assignment or resign. And for sure, none of the football clubs issuing "fan tokens" will ever share profits from players transfers, TV deals, or merchandise sales with its fanbase.

At the same time here in the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) universe we have the most innovative pro sports project on the whole crypto market - quietly BUIDLing and developing:

Oleksandra Oliynykova, the world first tokenized tennis player & Bitcoin Cash Global Ambassador

"The most innovative" is not a marketing b*shit. This is what already been done - if you show me any other sports & crypto project doing the same, I will happily edit this:

    1. All holders of OLI tokens are co-owners of Oleksandra's professional career, including prize money & other income proceeds. The holders already got 2 payouts in Bitcoin Cash from Oleksandra's tournament earnings, the 3rd one is on the way after the current tournament ends.

    2. OLI holders also participate in vital career decisions. For instance, the latest tournament schedule was made after the holders' intensive discussion on it.

    3. The project recently raised a major contribution of 180 BCH from supporters interested in its further development. With this contribution, a set of improved rules was implemented - called "The Green New Deal", read more here - resulting in simpler, more transparent & more financially attractive conditions for all token holders. As part of this "Green New Deal", our biggest supporter airdropped a part of his newly-owned tokens to all the small holders - without any conditions, just by surprise!

    4. The unique Bitcoin Cash Van - a converted "living van" wearing Bitcoin Cash visual promotion - is on its way to European roads!

    https://preview.redd.it/j1jwfg4n5y871.jpg?width=1071&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d62f27646b6f037430560d7418ec11dfba33890

We expect it to be ready in the middle of July - so it will depart to the first two-month travel on the route:

    Croatia - Slovenia - Austria - Germany - Netherlands - Belgium - Luxembourg - Germany - Austria - Slovenia - Croatia.

You can follow the trip on the Bitcoin Cash Van official Instagram page.

    1. There is a unique community of sports & crypto people created in the project - innovative, supportive & open-minded. The community is proving by its forming & development that decentralized, community-supported athletic career is not only possible, but might be more effective and fair than traditional sports management run by big sports corporations.

You are very welcomed to "join the revolution" (because it IS a revolution when pro sports meets crypto & decentralization and they effectively cooperate).

Read.cash links, good or bad ?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 09:50 AM PDT

Something that has been annoying me for a while is read.cash links. It seems to be a couple users who's only input here on Reddit is to post links to get clicks and views of their articles hosted on read cash so that read cash pays them more.

More often than not they have no description just a click bait title. Here's a perfect example, https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/ob0vvj/bitcoincom/ this has been deleted now but at the time the image next to the title was the bitcoin.com logo. No description that it was a review or not actually a link to bitcoin.com. I believe the only reason he deleted it was because the guy who funds read.cash, Marc de mesel commented that there should have been a description. He doesn't want to upset the guy who's paying him.

These links are solely a attempt to earn free money, these people do not care or want discussion here on Reddit, they just want clicks to their articles so they get paid. They are spam.

When confronted about his posting of read cash links he sent this reply,

"Just for the record, I get tips regardless if I post links or not. Read.cash pays me even if my articles don't get Redditors views. If you don't like my content here in Reddit which are only links, why don't you block my account here at Reddit that way you won't see my links.

    Have a nice day."

He doesn't post content here on Reddit !! lol that's the whole point, if he's posting on this sub and has something to say then post it here on r/BTC so r/BTC users can comment. Sending users away from this sub is not adding content to this sub.

This is all about these users getting free money by posting these read cash links, and we not talking about small sums here, one of the other main offenders who do nothing but post read.cash links here includes a screenshot of his read cash earnings in one of his most recent articles, 7.8 BCH. 7.8 BCH, posting these links is profitable business.

I don't have a issue with read.cash, the problem lies with the couple of users of the platform who spam their links in order to make even more money. It's all about the $$ to these people, they don't care for discussion here on Reddit, they just want the clicks.

Mods, please review the situation regarding what is considered spam and should be removed. I believe these links should be included.

This is not censorship as they claim trying divert attention away from what they are doing, if they want to copy and paste what ever it is they are saying and post it here on Reddit then please do. That is the whole point, if you got something to say and you on Reddit then say it here.

Steam was the first gaming service to my knowledge that accepted Bitcoin. It's time we reach out to Steam as a community to start accepting crypto again, and this time not just Bitcoin Core. Any ideas on how we should go about doing this?

USA ranked first as the 'crypto ready' country

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 09:44 AM PDT

    Why it's the most ready?

It is measured on a few facts:

U.S. has 17,436 crypto ATMs – nearly 16,000 more than the second-ranked country in the category, Canada.

The amount of ATMs for the whole population works out to be a crypto ATM for every 19,023 people. Even though the amount of crypto ATMs sounds like a lot, there's 470,000 regular ATMs in the USA, so you can imagine how long is left to go.

By all these facts, the United States ranked first, with a crypto-ready score of 7.13 out of 10.

No matter how ready the County is, the real question is the US government ready to accept crypto?

When will the Bitcoin.com wallet stop being a closed-source wallet and go open-source again? This is a blight on adoption efforts.

    Posted: 02 Jul 2021 10:52 AM PDT

Bitcoin Cash is the exemplary open-source Bitcoin network but our best wallet is closed source. We either need to find a better, open-source wallet or Bitcoin.com would be appreciated for open-sourcing once again their wallet.

People should be able to vet the code before trusting the wallet.

Or why not make a version of your wallet that you feel comfortable open-sourcing?

This is becoming a problem. Please and thank you.
