I just traded a broken 1060 and a RX470 4GB for an original GTX Titan 6GB. Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:08 AM PDT Do you guys consider this a good trade? I took one 470 from my main 4GB rig to trade for a second powerful card that can mine ETH alongside my 6700XT in the Desktop. Lost 28 Mh/s ETC hashrate, gained 30 Mh/s ETH. [link] [comments]
Are profit calculators reliable?? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:52 AM PDT I am looking to buy a couple of GPUs and comparing prices/profit but betterhash says that a simple gtx 750ti will make more profit a month than a gtx 1050 ti… how can that be?? Nicehash doesn't even list the 750ti as profitable PS: can you recommend not so expensive GPUs?? [link] [comments]
Anyone ever hear of Ace as a PSU brand ? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:27 AM PDT So building out a rig at the moment and may have miscalculated my power usage and need some additional power but don't have much of a budget left (if at all) Found a shop near me that has a new 850W psu by a brand called Ace for like c. €60. Is it worth the risk? Or just wait till I can upgrade the current ATX PSU? Using a server PSU/ATX PSU combo [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:22 AM PDT Not a shitpost. Looking for some healthy discussion: with ETH prices down, and GPU prices coming down, what's everybody doing? Who's buying GPU's? Who's getting out altogether? I'm seeing some GPU's on my local craigslist that may be worth copping, but I'm 50/50 with ROI/profits/EIP1559 blah blah blah. [link] [comments]

Why can’t we mine BTC/SHA52 on GPUs? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 04:58 AM PDT Anyone know? Even if it's not as efficient as ASICs, since ETH is going POS and BTC is the major POW/ largest Crypto, all that hash power of GPUs can support POW again even if at low profitability. [link] [comments]
Phoenixminer not showing power consumption on NVIDIA cards Posted: 26 Jun 2021 11:04 PM PDT I got a rig with both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, however the miner only shows the power consumption on the AMD cards even though I have the -hstats 2 command on my .bat file. [link] [comments]

ASUS B75M-A mobo has no "above 4g decoding" setting Posted: 27 Jun 2021 12:53 AM PDT I've updated the bios, but there is no such option. Is this a problem? Is it possible to use more GPUs for mining without this setting? Edit: I think I found it under a really dumb name... Edit2: For me it was Advanced -> System Agent Configuration -> Memory Remap Feature Not sure if it's exactly that, but it's description is "Enable or disable memory remap above 4GB" which kinda sounds like "Above 4G decoding" [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jun 2021 06:17 PM PDT Hey guys, I recently repadded my GPU and the temps have sadly only increased. I've since re-repadded with the same results. Sadly I don't have a picture of the "after" but I do have a picture of what I actually padded (look at the numbers) https://i.imgur.com/wLZwsjO.jpg I did all of the numbers + the little strip between 10 and 11. The only thing I didn't pad were the two square r15 thingies near the PSU connector on the left in the image. Did I miss anything? My vram temps are only up while my gpu temps are down (repasted it as well obviously). Fwiw I used 1mm gelid ultimate pads, all the old pads were 1mm as well (and absolutely crumbled when I opened the card up as you can see). I also had pads on the backplate, however I removed them in a last ditch effort to see if they were somehow fucking my temps, but they changed absolutely nothing in the end result. I know it's a bit hard to see on this shitty pic but I would really appreciate some help, especially if anyone has the same card! [link] [comments]
LHR nVidia Variants in the wild Posted: 26 Jun 2021 12:40 PM PDT Regarding LHR cards -- please remove if off topic, I'm curious what other folks are seeing. I've been following EVGA (since they have a queue system) and I've noticed they are switching over their cards to the LHR variants. One queue (3070) has switched to LHR, and I noticed a week ago that the EVGA 3060 Ti and 3070 on the Newegg shuffle were already LHR variants. And a couple weeks ago there were reports that an EVGA 3060 was already switched to the "new" LHR implementation. When do you think the other EVGA models and other companies are switching over to LHR? I'm wondering about the 3080s in particular since they have a lot lower volume, and I'm hoping they stay non-LHR for a while since I like to game and mine. [link] [comments]

Close a command line t-rex miner window the others stop? Windows 10 Posted: 26 Jun 2021 12:19 PM PDT im running 5 workers, each via separate batch files that call out t-rex.exe and parameters for each device (video card). For some reason, suddenly, after today, since i added a 5th video card, if i kill one worker command line thats running (usually if i kill the 1080), the others stop (i have pause in the batch file, so they all hit that and stop). There is no msg or indication as to why. Has anyone ran into this? example command line might be similar to : Edit disregard it was a taskkill I had left in one file oops Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
