- I would like to combine several of my horizontal rigs into a vertical one.(12GPUs) Here's a concept i put together in autodesk (first 2 images) and other alternatives i found on google image search. If you have good pointers for me or any of you have some cool examples to share, please do comment.

New thermal pads on my 3080 FE, but GPU temperature too high now. Posted: 09 Jun 2021 08:43 AM PDT Hey. I really hope someone can help me, because I am about to pull my hair out. I just put new gelid gp ultimate 2mm pads on the GPU side (I tried some thermal grizzly 1.5mm before, but memory temps too high still) Now the memory temps are perfect, but the general GPU temp hovers around 50C at idle, and 70C when mining (It was 55-56 before when mining) I have no clue what is going on, but I really hope someone can help me with this. Posted: 09 Jun 2021 08:12 AM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/nvvr13/ethereum_20_delayed_until_2022/ For context, when I first started mining back in 2018, there was rumor about "ETH2 coming soon". 3 years later, same news. [link] [comments] |
Anyone else have an MSI Ventus 3x 3090 and getting terrible results? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 10:23 AM PDT I am maxing at 110-113mhs while my other 3090s can reach at least 120mhs. [link] [comments] |
Could an old motherboard be the reason my 2 new graphics cards arent registering? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 09:39 AM PDT ( I posted this in another subreddit, but I each day Im not using these im losing money) I should note the 3060 that isnt working is msi 12 gb Gaming X. Also the 3070 and 3060 are literally fresh out the case so they cant both be defective So pretty much I have a 1660 super and 3060 plug in rn to my computer and a 3060 and 3070 Im wanting to hook up But whenever I even take the `1660 out and try to put either my 3070 or other 3060 it doesn't work. And they were both new out the box so they cant both be defective someone help lol I have a p9x79 motherboard. Literally put this pc together 8 years ago I am using 1200W thermal take as power so I have more than enough Maybe I need to flash bios IDK someone help the 1660 is in my case now but I plan to hook three risers to my mother board if I can get my other two to work I appreciate you checking out this post [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Jun 2021 05:04 AM PDT Hi I've got a 4 x 3060ti and a 1660 super which gets about 278 mhs. What would be the going rate to sell per mh? £15? [link] [comments] |
Why don’t I see Ergo on whattomine? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 07:33 AM PDT I keep seeing everyone mention mining Ergo now and or after 2.0. Why don't i see this coin on whattomine when i put in my gpus? [link] [comments] |
Pixel crash while mining with gaming pc Posted: 09 Jun 2021 01:03 AM PDT Hello pretty new with mining (i've started some months ago) and yesterday my pc crashed after that some pixel in the screen changed color (I couldn't take a picture of it) and then the pc crashed. It happened while i was on a call and sharing the screen (i use my gaming pc to mine) so it's possible that the gpu was overused. [link] [comments] |
Mining operation optimizations Posted: 08 Jun 2021 09:12 PM PDT With mining profits being a bit lower right now and eth 2.0/eip on the way it had me thinking of what optimizations I could make to my mining setup once profits are low enough to take the rig off line for a bit. A wanted to see what everyone else's plans were and hopefully we can help each other with better optimizing our farms for the next bull run. Once my 3080s are making less than 4 bucks a day I'm considering taking the full farm offline for about a week to repaste some cards and consolidate them to fewer rigs. Additional I'm finally planning on integrating a ups to the setup so power drops no longer knock out the entire farm. I would also add 240v power but a doubt the property management at my apparent would approve lol. I was just curious to see what everyone else's plans were and hopefully we can get some valuable ideas from one another. [link] [comments] |
Recommendations for efficiently using Polygon payment method on ethermine? Posted: 08 Jun 2021 07:44 PM PDT So I'm averaging 0.75 payout/day on Polygon (my rig is not strictly for mining and I use it for other stuff, like gaming). I set this up because ethermine "highly [recommends] smaller miners to use Polygon / Matic to receive their payouts promptly.". Obviously there are other reasons for them to recommend this, in particular it reduces the number of transactions subsidized by the pool, which benefits everyone, but especially larger miners with enough capacity to receive frequent, fully-subsidized mainnet payouts. I'm looking for clarification on two things:
