Our team is working on a bridge between Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Posted: 16 Jun 2021 12:08 PM PDT Good news everyone! We started testing a bridge between SmartBCH and Ethereum, once SmartBCH mainnet is ready, all tokens from Ethereum can be used as part of SmartBCH contracts. Users would be able to move tokens into SmartBCH and quickly swap and get yield from BCH, ETH, DAI, wBTC, etc.. with very low fees. You can check our previous work at: https://www.koingfu.com , our community site If you can, please consider supporting our dev team by making a donation to our flipstarter at: http://flipstarter.koingfu.com We can only bring these tools to SmartBCH main-net with your support. Thank you! if you want to test smartbch based swap you can use these settings and request some test coins on this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/nrpoog/how_to_get_ready_for_smart_bitcoin_cash_defi_in_a/h0oebm0/?context=3 [link] [comments]

Proof: Bitcoin.org used to promote on-chain scaling. Posted: 16 Jun 2021 11:28 PM PDT I was re-listening to the Roger-Pomp interview the other day and heard Roger mention that you could see archived pages from Bitcoin.org in 2014 where on-chain scaling was discussed openly. I looked it up and it's true. Just thought I would share the link in case others are interested. https://web.archive.org/web/20140213111638/https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Scalability Many improvements are mentioned that were not yet developed at that time, but which now exist on BCH. Things like Xthinner (to avoid re-sending transactions that are already in other nodes' mempool) and pruning to reduce the disk space needed to run a validating node. Great to see those things have now materialised. Throughout the article there are comments to the effect of "we can virtually do VISA/PayPal scale with today's hardware." [link] [comments]

New Community Category Added to Bitcoin Cash FAQ Posted: 16 Jun 2021 01:49 PM PDT BCHFAQ got its first update since launching yesterday with a new "Community" category. The questions include: Where Do Bitcoin Cash Discussions Take Place? Why Is r/btc About Bitcoin Cash Instead of BTC? (moved from Basics category) Why Is r/btc so Negative About BTC? Many more updates are in the works! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 04:05 PM PDT Would like to see it implemented on a website that could be helpful visualization of what block size is more rational and less costly for individuals that run a node. If anyone is interested in implementing this on a website, let me know. I am trying to include as much entries as possible, eg HDD and internet connection cost, etc. [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Jun 2021 01:10 AM PDT Hey there, I bought BCH 4 months ago, BCH is my first and only invest in Crypto. Since than I have learned that a good investor should buy as much BTC as he bought of an alternative coin in that he believes. Kim Dotcom or Roger Ver for example are saying this. But why tho? I mean if i believe that BCH will outperform every other cryptoasset, (long term wise, 10 years+) why should i put half of my investing money into something where i believe that won't perform like BCH.
