Posted: 28 Jun 2021 06:35 AM PDT Automation of conversion for merchants so they would have an option to automatically receive the fixed fiat value when they get payed, in the beginning it is very importantnywhere, so it is very important to have a quick and easy option for BCH/EUR swap, it could be done with stablecoin, but no one is interested in creating EUR stablecoin with SLP, and I don't have the knowledge how to do that. Another option is Detoken, which could fix the fiat value of BCH, but I don't know how it works, how it can be automated and integrated on Bitcoin Cash wallet, one of the basic values that I would like to keep is anonymity (no KYC), to promote electronic cash as an alternative to cash which requires no KYC to use. So the volatility, lack of acceptance, KYC, lack of in app convertibility are all obstacles to easily onboard merchants. What can be done, who is working on that? With who to discuss all of this? I want a non-KYC solution for in app conversion of BCH - EUR, with a stablecoin like tether or DAI. Automation of conversion for merchants so they would have an option to automatically receive the fixed fiat value when they get payed, in the beginning it is very important, because BCH is not a base currency in Europe, it is not used for payments, it has a huge volatility which makes it unattractive for payments. BCH payment processor Prompt.Cash adds PayPal API layer compatibility Posted: 27 Jun 2021 02:11 PM PDT We at Prompt.Cash added PayPal API layer compatibility for our REST API. What does this mean? It means that the over 10k payment libraries on GitHub can now interact with Prompt.Cash: https://github.com/search?q=paypal We make merchant migration from PayPal USD to BCH easy and seamless Compatibility on the API layer enables websites using PayPal to try out $BCH payments without investing many resources & Developer knowledge Here is a demo video: https://youtu.be/k_0JrO1UKpA Do you want to connect your store and favorite library to BCH? Come talk to us at our Telegram: https://t.me/PromptCash This feature is early beta and some APIs are not yet implemented (and some can not be implemented such as refunds/subscriptions). Therefore we appreciate any feedback to refine and improve our PayPal API layer according to the needs of the most popular PayPal software out there. [link] [comments]
Will Bitcoin Cash Fork for PoS? Posted: 28 Jun 2021 11:26 AM PDT I think it would be really great if Bitcoin Cash could do the Ethereum thing and fork into Proof of Stake, and automatically move everyone over without having to force one to hop onto a new coin. I'd also like to see more Cardano-like improvements, too. [link] [comments]

Hard Fork vs Soft Fork - Comparison for a Beginner Posted: 28 Jun 2021 01:46 AM PDT Forks are needed to allow innovation to take place in blockchaing - with no central figure in charge, development is up to the community and forks allow the implementation of these changes. These mechanisms allow the industry as a whole to adapt, grow and prosper, and all in a decentralized nature. The following guide breaks down the difference between a hard fork and a soft fork: The Difference Between A Hard Fork And A Soft Fork The biggest difference between a hard a soft forks is the backward-compatibility. With hard forks, the network is split into two and users need to pick which network they want to continue with. With soft forks, the network's rules are updated but the chains can co-exist and older nodes (ones that have not updated) can still participate in verifying transactions. In soft forks, users are generally unaware of the updates and can continue to use the network and cryptocurrency as usual. [link] [comments]

Nothing helps to cool down like an AC at full blast and a cold beer with ice cubes. Posted: 27 Jun 2021 03:29 PM PDT The start of the week can't start without a full day's rest and grilled meat with another cold beer to have enough energy to go back tomorrow to the grinder again like every week. Just to collect some fiat to once again pay more bills. You don't work to make yourself rich you work to make somebody else rich. Jobs only pay enough to survive that is why you need a side hustle. You may think that $10 as a tip is not a big amount but in a world where you have to spend almost all of your income on food and necessaries for life, $10 become nice savings over time if you have the capacity to save up a bit, and save your tips. Don't take me the wrong BCH was made to spend and it is meant to be used but you must also know your situation you don't spend your cash unwisely you always make sure you have enough saved up for emergencies and unforeseen eventualities, the same logic applies and works for Bitcoin Cash as well. And just add a few grains of salt, cheers. Have a nice weekend and an energetic start tomorrow. https://read.cash/@francis105d1/a-hot-summer-day-with-a-cold-beer-7ea2873a [link] [comments]
