Ripple appoints a former U.S. treasurer to its board amid legal fight with the SEC

Anyone feel like getting a hashtag trending?

This latest declaration that they have "no internal communications" regarding their policy opinions on ETH, BTC, and XRP is obviously an outright lie. How are they communicating? Telepathy? These people are dirty bureaucrats--self-enriching examples include Clayton and the other lackey, who coincidentally migrated over to the Ethereum foundation after doing their damage to us, and these are just the ones we know about.

Would love a little public outcry cuz these people are trash and deserve public shaming.

I want the judge to see those docs.

Created the source code visualisation for the ripple/rippled github repository, I think it's pretty neat.

Why does Brad Garlinghouse keep telling us that he is long on Bitcoin?

    Posted: 04 May 2021 02:50 AM PDT

    I don't get it.

Why does Brad go out of his way whenever he can to tell us that he is long on Bitcoin? I understand that he believes crypto projects shouldn't be antagonistic with each other, and that the ecosystem would be better off if all the maximalists went away. I tend to agree. But why not just say that instead of saying he is "long on BTC"?

Does he think that Bitcoin (and proof-of-work) has a useful place in the crypto ecosystem? Or is he just saying that Bitcoin is a speculative asset, and that he is speculating that its price will go up? The two are very different.

I honestly don't get it. If he thinks that Bitcoin has a long-term purpose, what purpose is that? Why doesn't he just say "I am long on bitcoin because it has a great use case which is ....".

Xrp toolkit - are dex ious stored on ledger?

    Posted: 04 May 2021 01:38 AM PDT

It's my understanding that when you trade using the xrp toolkit on their dex you are swapping your xrp for ious on various exchanges. So for example you could swap some xrp for usd iou on the bitstamp exchange. What I don't understand is where this iou is stored? Is it stored on your ledger in your ripple wallet?

Where to buy in the US?

    Posted: 04 May 2021 06:22 AM PDT

I need to buy 20 coins o I can put them on a wallet, so I can then pull out my coins that are on Bittrex, and I am having trouble finding anywhere I can actually buy this coin anymore.
