    Coinbase and wallets

    This may be the wrong subreddit to post this in, but every post I make on crypto currency gets taken down.

    I'm a beginner and I'm using coinbase but I'm learning about wallets and keys and stuff, and was wondering if I wasn't to use coinbase, how do I invest in crypto whereby I have my own digital wallet?

    I recently tried moving some LTC from an atomic wallet to a trust wallet. Atomic wallet is telling me the contract address is invalid. Any ideas why?

    PS: i've been using atomic wallet for swaps and the exchange rate is awful. Are decentralized swaps better on exchange rates?

    Question about sending LTC to Gemini

    I am not a normal user of LTC, but I want to use it to cheaply send funds to Gemini exchange. When I go to deposit the LTC on Gemini it has my address listed as one that starts with ltc, but then has an option to click a button to get an address that doesn't start with ltc for times when you can't send to an address which starts with ltc. I am trying to send it from Binance.us would I be good to send it to the address with the prefix of ltc or do I need to generate a new one without and also when would you need the ltc prefixed one verse the non ltc prefixed one? Thanks in advance!

    Wallet.dat corrupted

    Im sure this has been asked many times but im hoping someone can help me out. I have an old wallet i recovered from harddrive use recuva. When i open the file using notepad++ i can see alot of encrypted information in there. I believe i know my password but i do not get the opportunity to input it as the wallet crashes with the corrupt salvage wallet error.

    I am hoping this is recoverable, there are only 40 coins in there but would still be nice in these current times we are in. If anyone is able to guide me or help out i can give them 2 coins as an appreciation. Thanks in advance

    My litecoin core won't start up I got a fault message thats says "see debug.log" but when I click ok the program shuts down so I can 't see the debug.log ... What can I do... help...

    Finding LTC wallet

    This is a long shot.

    Back at the end of 2017 I bought some litecoin through coinbase and then transfered it to my private wallet. I can see the transaction and where I sent it (through coinbase and litecoin block explorer - it even says it hasn't been spent) but I can't remember what company I had my wallet through! 😔 Im pretty sure I still have my seed but it hasn't worked with any software I've tried. Is there anyway to figure out where I sent it - or am I fudged ?
