    In this stupid world, where stupid people become rich by buying a stupid Coin why the fuck do i have to work hard and study and do things to become rich in order to help my fucking family and all i see around me, is stupid people posting on Twitter Instagram or wherever "doge Coin is so incredible i just made 10k" what the fuck is wrong?

    EDIT I'm not angry about others gains, the main problem here is the fact that a coin with no absolute utility gets in 4th position of the most capitalized coins in the world

    EDIT 2 everyone under this post is writing: "you are just jealous, bla blabla" I don't care about who is earning with doge, I got my crypto and my earnings too, I made a 700+ in less than 2 months. This is not the point.

    based anon explanation What is it: Incredibly fast, almost infinitely scalable state-of-the-art DLT. It combines the block-lattice architecture that was first(?) used by Raiblocks/Nano with a DAG that exists as a separate layer for the consensus. The block-lattice handles the transactions. It's going to be used to scale Web3 dapps as a L1, and also process transactions as a L2 chain.

    Who does it: This is an independent, open-source project and will probably be run by a foundation similar to Ethereum and Cardano, but I'm about 99.5% sure its backed by Square. I can enumerate the zillions of times they have hinted as such if I really have to here, but you can search for old biz posts on Zenon here and also on Warosu.

    Square will likely use it to scale Bitcoin transactions where the default payment for merchants and Cashapp users is made in BTC, and then they can set it to dollars or pounds or whatever afterwards.

    Its open source and not owned by Square, like how Node.js isn't owned by Google but has wide adoption. They'll easily recruit 1000s of legacy web apps for this bc no code changes are needed, and also dapps on Ethereum will easily switch over.

    With Doge and alt coins rallying to all time highs, does anyone else think the top may be coming soon? Like how much higher can we pump all these coins? With retail going in on alt coins there will be a lot of paper hands just like what happened with growth stocks/small caps in the stock market. Or maybe we just keep on pumping along and have a never ending bull market. These past couple weeks alone feel so euphoric. Market feels so dangerous. What do you guys think?

    We all know this market is dumb. Ethereum classic is sitting at 11b valuation after getting 51% attacked multiple times and market neglects tokens with actual usage and utilty.

    But their ignorance is our opportunity. Cosmos (ATOM) has 244 apps securing 139 billion USD and is sitting at a mere 5.6b mcap. ATOM is so undervalued that it blows my mind - This is absolutely crazy.

    Many of the dapps are using Cosmos and you don't even know! INJ, BAND, KAVA, LUNA, SWTH and so on. Did you know that Binance Smart Chain is built on Tendermint and Cosmos SDK as well? Source

    People assume that the market reflects value in the short term. It absolutely does not. Price and value are not the same thing. Price is a reflection of people's perception - reflexivity is such a big part of crypto and meme stocks are compounding that effect.

    For example, you may rationalize that doge is a joke and that memes are silly. But when you are constantly exposed to memes that send a message in a nuanced way, and then you see prices rise, your brain has a positive reaction to the future expectation of the price. When people subconsciously start to look at the future price more favorably, it plays into the market and prices rise. Is that a reflection of the coins value? Absolutely not. The coins price is much higher than true economic equilibrium, and it will tumble back when the market realizes that they have overestimated it. But the problem with your attitude is that you're being rational. Everything you said about it's downside is valid, but that isn't what drives the price in the short term.

    Doge will fail. But I've made money investing in it with the understanding that reflexivity will inflate its price. Not all doge investors are idiots. A lot of them are very savvy, taking advantage of their understand of how markets work in the short term.
