- Thought that u/MemoryDealers gets a lot a hate online, so let’s do something fun and positive. There are a number (a lot) of errors (I’m no artist), but had fun making it. Might sketch Vitalik if I get time also. Sorry if this is not the right place to post, but wasn’t sure where else to share it.

Posted: 02 May 2021 10:59 AM PDT Hi everyone, I'm Jason Dreyzehner, author of the PMv3 Cash Improvement Proposal, a v3 transaction format which would allow Bitcoin Cash contracts to interact and work together. With PMv3, we can build highly-scalable, decentralized applications on Bitcoin Cash. Some of my other open source work includes CashChannels, CashTokens, Libauth, and Bitauth IDE. Ask Me Anything! Thank you to /u/legofan_1 and the /r/btc mods for setting up this AMA (and also for the work they do growing this community). If you're interested in following PMv3 development, please join the PMv3 & CashTokens Telegram Channel. (edit: Tweet confirming this thread.) Conversation StartersThis introduction to Prediction Markets on Bitcoin Cash is a good place to start for newcomers to prediction markets. I talk about how they work, how they'll change the world, and how PMs are a killer application for Bitcoin Cash. There's also a video: Prediction Markets on Bitcoin Cash where we deep-dive into how PMv3 works, CashTokens, prediction markets, synthetic assets, decentralized exchanges, BCH scaling considerations, comparisons with ETH, and more. And here are some other topics I've written about recently:
And finally, please subscribe to my blog for future updates about Bitcoin Cash development. Thanks! Edit:Thank you all for the questions! I'm going to take a break, but I'll try to continue answering any questions posted here over the next few days. If you have technical feedback on the PMv3 proposal, please also open an issue on the repo. Thank you! [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 May 2021 10:43 PM PDT At 2.5k transactions a block and 144 blocks in a day, or 360k transactions a day, divided by 7.8 billion people it would take 21,666.6 days to on board all of them, or 59.3 years if each person only made one transaction in that time. to the moon🚀🌙 [link] [comments]
Friendly reminder regarding crisis. Posted: 03 May 2021 01:26 AM PDT Guys just keep in mind, that during every crisis, cash is the king - i mean, BITCOIN CASH. Seeing people in clayhouses using BCH is hearthwarming, when we will see people in glass houses using crypto day to day it would be fkn hearthmelting extasy! [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 May 2021 07:05 AM PDT I realized I actually feel glad to pay the BCH tx fee. It feels like the right range to pay for making a transaction. Not nothing, but just a tiny bump in exchange for maintaining the network. "Thanks buddy!" I have a good wholesome feeling associated with that tiny fee, instead of the "woah wait a minute, what the fuck" feeling you get from BTC fees, like you just got robbed. You know something is in the right price range when it gives you a feeling of fairness, like everyone involved benefitted proportionally. If it was literally zero I would be suspicious. If it was even just 10 cents it would not properly compete with me handing my friend a $5 bill, it would feel like some parasite is wetting their beak more than necessary. So good job, whoever figured that range out, it's one of the rare fees I'm not annoyed to pay. [link] [comments] |
