Keep up the good fight! I love the BCH ethos

    Posted: 03 Apr 2021 06:20 PM PDT

Lately I am starting to really understand and appreciate BCH and couldn't support it more.

Appreciation grows paticularly after seeing the Kim dotcom interview, and nice little snippets from it like this: //www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/mj7rob/btc_maximalist_effectively_admits_that_bch_is/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

And I know the political views of Roger Ver, which I think largely align with BCH as well.

My thing is Monero, I understand BCH criticisms against it and all, but Monero is my idealized currency.

As I read and listen to BCH goals and ethos, I relate a ton. I very much agree with the goals to be a transactional currency for the world, and if it's a bigger threat to the governments and USD, it's better than BTC regardless of marketcap.

I'll be soon removing BTC as a payment option from my store and using Monero and BCH (with discount) exclusively.

I know I'm not really a part of the BCH community, but I just wanted to pop in and say that you guys do have the right idea. Some dumb hedge fund gold 2.0 that is complicated, expensive and convoluted to use as a payment or transactional currency sucks.

I hope to see BCH and Monero cross chain atomic swaps and various adoption for actual payments as well as SoV.

What are some simple things I might be able to do in order to help BCH?

More and more companies keep building on BCH because it actually works for payments.

A reminder of why /r/btc talks most about BCH. as theymos said in that infamous post "If 90% of /r/Bitcoin users find these policies to be intolerable, then I want these 90% of /r/Bitcoin users to leave. Both /r/Bitcoin and these people will be happier for it." and ppl from that sub still troll here

banned from r/bitcoinCA for criticizing using bitcoin for restaurant and grocery payments lol

the mod there u/Fiach_Dubh used to seem pretty reasonable until he also got mod status on r/bitcoin . Apparently being a r/bitcoin mod comes with the task of spreading censorship far and wide off the clock as well. Also shoutout to u/MrRGnome for being perpetually butthurt that bitcoinCA used to allow altcoin discussion, happy there is another censored safespace for you now?

Is BCH really that much better?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2021 01:20 PM PDT

So I'm still new to the crypto space (well, I was there for BTC breaking 20K but I rode the waves and only HODL'ed so I still don't know much) and I see people praising BCH all the time. Why?

    Chaintip?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2021 03:20 PM PDT

LOL is chaintip banned on BTC forums? I was gonna tip someone there. 😂 . When I put the command there it didn't message me back! Censorship is all the way to tipping. Dam there is so much bad blood and censorship regarding BCH.

The best way they keep the prices down is this imho.

BCHUSD: Dont fall for the whale shakeout accumulation scamminess

What you talking about Willis ?

There's not much BCH to go round because when it came out in 2017 it was assigned to BTC holders so little BCH was actually available . The rest of the BCH supply is still yet to be mined so the existing BCH supply is actually very limited .

The whales know this and are shaking out buyers and frustrating Hodlers by reversing the price almost as much as it moves up, and also by keeping the price action stagnant. Most folks take the bait and give up in frustration and the whales scoop up their tokens.

I ain't falling for it - every chance I get I'm accumulating more. This will be one heck of a pump when the whales complete their accumulation and let this puppy rip.

This is just my opinion and not financial advice so always DYOR

Is there an alternative to trends.cash and oyo.cash?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 12:15 AM PDT

I was watching a 2-year-old video that used trends.cash to see the popular apps used on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

However, when I went to that website it now defaults to the BSV blockchain. Same for oyo.cash.

Is there an alternative that shows BCH activity? Thanks.

    Traded BTC for BTH

    Posted: 03 Apr 2021 06:27 PM PDT

So I've been reading about BCH for a while now, and it just seems so much more of a reasonable system than BTC. I had 150$ btc on my portfolio for a couple of months now, wich turned into 162$ so i decided to trade the extra into BCH, and honestly I'd like to add more soon I'm quite ignorant, I can certainly say I don't know much about crypto, but I feel like I made a good choice... Any opinions?
